Improved gaming performance
The media could not be loaded. This is a much larger mouse pad than I expected so keep that in mind. But with it’s size comes great potential for gaming! I game a lot. Having an expensive mouse is pointless if you can’t get its true performance out of it. A mouse pad is more important that people think. These have been at the frontline of supplying gaming accessories for a while now so I trust their judgment on what works and what doesn’t. The first thing I noticed about the pad was the top surface, it uses a Beaded, textured, hard surface for pixel precise accuracy and with that also comes easy maintenance in terms of washing and keeping clean. The ultra-low friction for me certainly meant maximum speed and glide for my mouse. FPS games become so much more easier on the mouse. I am able to get pin point accuracy in fast time. The mouse mat anchors to my desk thanks to the Anti-slip base. When it comes to gaming the last thing you need is a wrist support, it restricts gameplay. So with that don’t be concerned this doesn’t have one as the edges aren’t sharp at all and they don’t affect your use.I have used this for probably about 24 hours of gameplay and what I would recommend taking away from my review is that yes the price is steep, But the performance you get for true hardcore gamers is fantastic. If you’re just after a gamepad for light gaming or workflow, this isn’t the one for you. This is made with gamers in mind and to truly appreciate the accuracy this gives your mouse, you have to use it to see for yourself. All In all, the price is steep. I think personally it should be made cheaper considering the competitive market of mousepads. But I wont deny it does do what it states it can. Improve your gameplay.PROS- Improves accuracy of mouse- Great quality- Doesn’t curl at the corners.CONS- Not a fair, reflective, price (expensive)- Doesn’t fold up

Amazing mousepad but way too expensive
Previous to this mousepad I was using a Steelseries DeX which I've been considering replacing for a while, I've not really much about razer's mousepads so I didn't really know what to expect.Unlike a lot of other mousepads, this one comes already flattened out, this is most likely because it's a hard mousepad and they can't just roll it up, you could easily fit 50-100 of these mousepads in the box this arrived in.The friction (the reason you would buy this thing) is extremely low, I thought my DeX was the lowest I could experience, but this blew it away, my mouse just glides across the pad with very little pressure, low friction is something a lot of esports players want, I personally just prefer the lack of scratchiness...Speaking of scratchiness, be very careful what mouse you use this with, some mic will not work smoothly on this pad, my G703 is perfect and pretty much silent, but my Rival 600 is loud and scrapes across the pad. It's a VERY good mousepad, definitely the best I have ever used, but the price is just too high, £80 is simply too much, I'm not a mousepad enthusiast but I definitely can't see £80 of value, £30 maybe. In conclusion, it's an extremely good mousepad but too expensive, I would recommend it but not at the current price.

Very Big, Very Slidey
I've been using a fabric mousemat with a wrist rest for some time, so changing to the Razer Acari has been quite a shock. For starters, this one is huge; it's big enough for both my mouse and half of my keyboard to sit on comfortably. Thankfully, it's not very thick, so my keyboard doesn't jiggle up and down being half-on, half-off it.Secondly, and perhaps most importantly, it is *very* slidely. It feels like there is considerably less friction than previous mousemats that I've used, like my mouse is ice skating, and it takes much less effort to move it around. However, one issue I've noticed with this is that even putting enough force on the mouse to double click can make it slide around a little - I've yet to experiment whether this has an impact on my aim in FPS games, but I'll update when I've tried it out enough!I'd never really thought that my mouse mat was particularly resistant, but this one decreases that resistance to a whole new level.Obviously, the price tag will deter all but the most hardcore gamers - £77 for a mouse mat is ridiculous. Otherwise, this is a very good piece of kit if your gaming environment calls for something of this size and quality.

Big but way overpriced.
The media could not be loaded. This is a lovely big mouse mat, for sure. At 420 x 320 mm it's more than enough for most people's needs. It's very thin but sturdy - when I took it out the box it sounded like a wobble-board.The backing is grippy and you can't really move it accidentally. The top is jet black, with glittery particles in it that make it look pretty stylish. Being old I'm more interested in how it performs though.I'm used to a smooth mouse pad, which I polish from time to time to keep clean. Instantly I noticed that my Microsoft mouse 'rumbled' a lot more in the surface, which is much more textured than any mouse pad I've used before. It certainly doesn't 'glide' as good. Switching to newer mice that I've got, they certainly do glide, but in use it's not that noticeable. They still rumble more though. The particles that are supposed to shine under U.V. light didn't as far as I could see - a U.V. lamp shone brighter on white cat hairs from Dave jumping on it, than the particles inside. To be honest, my polished wooden desk is just as responsive. Buy this if you want it for the looks, or particularly need your mouse to 'glide' (if it's new) and be noisier. The price is just way to high though.
