Got this item as a replacement battery as my original battery drained. So far this battery is running well and the charge is lasting as good as my original did.

Made the hoover like new again.

Batteries do not hold a charge after a few months dont waste your money cannot get them replaced under warranty as no one replies to emails !!

Great battery, actually think it’s better than the original.

I returned the first battery as it lasted less than 10min.However, the seller sent me a replacement, which seems to perform much better (around 25min on middle power setting).I don't think it performs as well as an original battery, but for the price, it seems to be a good choice.Customer service was outstanding.

It works, but not as good as original one.

looked good on Amazon description so bought in January - didn’t seem right although ok at first - then kept switching off - by May, thinking it was the actual Dyson I contacted Dyson help line and they diagnosed the battery as faulty - i didn’t be them but on the basis i could return a new dyson batt i ordered one direct - that arrived two days later and installed on the cleaner - guess what the genuinely Dyson worked instantly so lesson learnt always buy genuine spare battery -

Firstly, I am writing this review following a good few months of use and I am delighted with the battery. It is identical in shape and colour to the original one supplied with the dyson when it was new. Performance is much improved on the original as the power and length of battery charge time is significantly better. I recommend this product to anyone in need of a Dyson replacement battery.
