I originally purchased these to use with curtains. They are super easy to slide on to a curtain rod, and easy to remove. Love the block iron rod appearance. They are super sturdy and the clasps are solid and hold tight. There were no magnets attached to the ones I purchased. These would definitely work well for hanging curtains or valances. However, I found that these make perfect little clips for me to dry my herbs and flowers on. I’ve been waiting on the kitchen valance to arrive and decided to give it a try and as you can see from the pics, they are darling and perfect for this use as well. Love these so much.

These are great but if you're getting these instead of the IKEA ones pay attention, these hooks (the black ones anyway) face the wrong direction and use a metal ring instead of plastic.The metal ring is nice and looks great but it's thinner, louder and tends to get stuck on seams more (like when going from the small part of an adjustable rod to the big part). I haven't had these that long but I'm a little concerned they could rust on the seam. On the other hand, I have white rings from IKEA and the plastic is yellowing.The clips are hung by a little wire that should be twisted in the middle to hold the clip in line with the curtain. The flat part of the clip should be facing you. The clips are sideways, so they twist the curtain. If you want the clips to be straight you'll have to bend all the wires or modify them in some other way.Also the clips are basically painted shut when you get them so you have to have some hand strength to open them the first time.I used these with IKEA Riktig drapery hooks. You can poke the top of a drapery hook through the top hole on these, in the little bent wire that connects the ring to the clip. Ring top drapery hardware is SO EXPENSIVE, this is a fantastic affordable substitute that doesn't require a bunch of effort to modify.

I really love these clip rings. At first the clips were a little resistant to pop open, but that honestly assured me they’ll hold the curtains up securely. Got the smallest pack and still only used 11 of them for each curtain which is 52in long. I also LOVE how they glide on the curtain rod. No snagging or scraping and they stay put wherever you pull them to. So much better for opening up the curtains than just putting them directly over the rod. Love the look too.

Easy to attach to curtain panels, simple design. Perfect size for the panels I was hanging, they glide really nice. They hold the curtains with a tight grip.

No scratches on the metal itself and no rips on my curtains so far - EVEN with repeated use and constantly changing curtains.I would not use them with the thin ones I have, but they honestly work great with medium to thick fabric curtains (Including blackout ones).I would totally buy again if I need to in the future.
