My wife and I loved the flavor
Purchased the Sample Pack in September to give it a try. Finished the last trial packet this week. My wife and I loved the flavor, taste, and serving size. The serving size is a definite 4+ for each packet. We cooked the whole packet each time for the trial and had plenty of leftovers for the next day. My wife needs GF food and we are very glad we found some very good GF meals. We ranked the sample packet as follows on a scale of 1 (low) to 10 (high). Cheese and broccoli bake - 9 (our favorite), Creamy Potato soup - 9, Enchilada Beans and Rice - 8, and then Classic Chili - 7. I was very pleased with this product and we are now going to purchase the 32 serving / 72 hour Food Kit. This kit has the same four meals as the sample kit plus 4 new meals, and I know we will be pleased with all of them. Great for long term storage.

Great product - misleading claim about "just add water"
Product is a little laborious to prepare. If they consider the product a viable "survival" food method it would be difficult to have a heat source to boil water then continue heating food through for up to 15 minutes. - Tasted great and my Celiac husband enjoyed the flavours. That's why I give this product a 4/5 star review.

Just tried the chili so far, but it was tasty. My husband wanted to spice it up with some tabasco, but I thought it had fine flavor. We did dress it up with cheese, but in a survival situation, it'd be just fine, for sure!

Gluten Free MREs not so easy to find
Purchased after the significant rattling in July in Los Angeles. Didn’t much appreciate Amazon increasing all the MRE prices within days. Not nice. I hope I never need to use them. It’s funny but the shipping box smelled like Doritos which I learned from neighbors who also purchased MREs is a common scent/seasoning.
