21st Century Slow Release Iron Tablets, 60 Count

I don't understand why the bottle has to be 90% empty given the number of pills. Just have a smaller bottle??? It's a waste of plastic, and plastic is killing our nature. Also, I'd like to make sure the coloring is not from cochineal and is natural+vegan. Otherwise it seems ok but i haven't been using it for long.

These capsules are exactly what I was looking for. They are Time release, which is great because it releases throughout the day and not just a quick burst. They are small enough to be able to easily swallow them. I take it in combination with vitamin C because you need vitamin C in order to absorb the iron for the hemoglobin to be able to utilize the heme. I take it in the morning with a full glass of water, and it sits well on my stomach. It does not cause irritation, or acid reflux, or gastric side effects. Of course, keep in mind that it’s going to your feces tarry A dark black color, but that’s natural because you’re taking iron. Don’t be alarmed by the black stool if you’re taking these iron pills. It’s going to happen. Again don’t freak out it’s normal but if you do freak out, ask your physician and let them know that you are taking Iron pills. As always, please ask your physician if you are allowed to take iron pills before taking these. I don’t know you my Amazon reader, but I love the world and I would never want to see anyone get hurt. Overall, needless to say I recommend these vitamins.

I take an iron supplement every day for low iron. I normally buy a small bottle from our local Walmart. I recently found this bigger bottle on Amazon for an even lower price than the small bottle from Walmart, and so far, they seem to work just as well.

I love these pills. Gentle on the tummy and such great value for money. I get them for my parents as well. Used to get them on an Amazon subscription in the US. And was pretty miffed that I couldn't get them in Australia. But nowwww. I can. Yaaaaayyyy.

Great Price Month's in the Bottle

Good price and a very high (250% of Daily Value) amount of iron. Unfortunately my system did not like these and I had to discontinue using them.Iron supplements are a leading cause of accidental poisoning deaths in children!
