As a product it’s better then anything you get from the supermarkets

After having used same brand's bags for a bit, the "wets leaking" issue was too bad, so I stopped.Having gotten a slighly bigger size of the very same, they seem to have improved wet waste leakage through bags. Almost good, but not enough. I do double my bags in a bin, but after 3 days in one bin, then in another one waiting for collection, they still leak a lot of bin juice.I am not poring liquvids in there - but there's always some from decaying fruits and other scraps after a few days, esp after 1 week between bin collections.So Improved a lot, but far, far from great, hence 3 stars. If these could hold up for 2 or so days more, holding porato or other peels,vevn in a double bag, I'd be happy to give 5

Bags are a good size and not flimsy

These bags help keep compostable waste for a short period (3-5 days) before beginning to break down. Once in compost most of the bag decomposes though some can remain. Better than constantly washing out/disinfecting an unlined container.

First of all, the bag's bottom is gathered, so once opened up, the advertised 46cm length couldn't even reach the base of my 35cm tall bin.Now on to the fault. After the first 2 bags, every one I rolled out had a tear. It started with a small tear so I could use a tape to close the hole. One by one, the tear was getting longer and the hole bigger. Today, the tear was across the whole length! (See the photo as circled on the right) The bag was practically useless. And the next one I pulled out, there was a seam burnt to the middle, reducing the size of the bag to half (as circled on the left). Now I see the tears must have been caused by this extra sealing in the middle that got deeper through the roll, rendering all the bags faulty.When you are already paying 10-15p a bag, and trying to reduce waste accumulation of plastic bags by choosing something decomposable, these bags just defeat the whole purpose.UPDATE: As soon as the company received my report of the issue, the response was prompt and courteous to rectify the matter. I was left very impressed with such top-notch customer care that you rarely find on Amazon, and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic caddy bags. I switched to this brand due to cost, having used another for a long time. I'm glad I did, these are not only more sturdy but easier to remove from the caddy and tie a knot in the bag.I've not had a bag split as I sometimes did with the previous bags I used.

Fits perfectly into our (7 litre) Council food waste bin, not had one split yet despite using it for tough stuff like pineapple skin, chicken bones, etc. Not sure how long they would last when wet, but we change ours every couple of days and they get taken away weekly, so it's not been an issue.Seem to be watertight also, when liquid ends up in the bottom of the bag.

Easy open, sturdy and leakproof. Glad to be using a small business with a good product. Will most definitely be buying these again.
