The media could not be loaded.  Wow, I just want to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this product! Originally, I was looking at a $2K carpet from another large retailer, but decided to check Amazon before going through with the purchase, while I found other beautiful products, this definitely caught my eye. When it was delivered, I was shell-shocked because it exceeded my expectations!!! In all honesty, jump on this purchase. You won't find a Persian of this quality, this cheap elsewhereSome product details: It IS a very thin pile---that is to say that the actual carpet weave is as thin as a thick table runner, but does have a protective backing that adds to the overall thickness. MY guess is that it's .2-.25 pile. This, if anything is a good thing in regards to the quality of print and you don't have to worry about the carpet flattening over time. It is incredibly soft to the touch and lays well.My recommendation is to get a carpet pad to extend the wear of this item. Our carpet is going in the living room, so in a bit of a high traffic area, but again we are a no-shoes-in-house type of house, so keep that in mind!

Really brightened up the space. Pattern is very sharp and colors are vibrant, sage green, dark navy, reddish purple, cream, tan and white. Very soft yet durable. My elderly cat "christened" it two days after I put it down but it cleaned up easily. Stains and solids stay on the top of the fibers making it easy to remove. Because of the thinness of the rug the cat isn't interested in clawing it. It came rolled on a hollow pole, within two days laid flat with heavy books on edges.I LOVE IT! WHAT A GREAT VALUE!

Got the large 8x11 and it looks spectacular, lies flat, feels nice. In this prices range fo carpet the color and thread pattern detail is shockingly better than similar carpets. it lies flat, conforms to contours (like a pad I added underneath) and does not curl. well finished edges (2 with fringe). THe fringes are not the obnoxious thick ones you sometimes see that are a mess to keep clean and straight-- these are fins and short and attractive.It is thin and felt backed (as opposed to a stiff thick thread woven carpet backing as is more standard). I was surprised how small and flexible the roll was when received the shipment. It actually required a card board center tube because it could be rolled so tightly. literally half the diameter of a wool carpet I ordered the same time.**it is thin.I think one reason it's thin is because of the felt backing, but that's not what you usually mean when you say a carpet is thin. you are talking about the pile hight***pile height is very short If you were looking for a shaggy or plush rug to sink your toes into this is not it. But This is more of a style question than a quality or value issue.For me, since this is for a bedroom not an office with roll-chairs I wanted more padding under foot so I put my old rug under it. Came out perfect. But if I were using this in a dining room or an office where I want chairs to roll or slide then I'd prefer it without any added padding.**Backing is feltI'm not yet sure what to make of that felt. It seems fine so I'm not sure why I'd prefer the more typical more heavy duty one. And thread height is very low and fine (but fairly high density). Since I've never had a felt backed rug before I'm worried that it might somehow not have the integrity of a standard woven backing. But at the moment it is fine and seems superior since it allows it to be more conformal and lie flat.SO far I'm extremely happy with this purchase. exceptionally beautiful. and the detail doesn't look cheap (better than rugs 2x as much). Certainly not Persian hand made rug level detail work!!! But of course but you know that, given the price. I suspect what makes this inexpensive may be the low pile and light weight backing reduce the material and shipping costs. It's made of some synthetic not "silk" as in silk worms, which is why the ad says "viscose silk" not simply "silk". But you knew that too, given the price.SO I think this is a good value. It isn't shoddy. No rip off here. Nor are you are not getting a steal on some way marked down rug. It's just a really nice rug in it's style and price range, and the only things you can't tell in the picture are the backing is felt, the pile is very short, and it's more finely detailed that similarly priced rugs.

It looks great and feels great for a few days. After that it feels cheap and useless rug. Very low quality and extremely thin materiel. You could only use this on wooden floor and will not stay on carpet. Not recommended at all. Please dont waste your money on this. a few more dollars will get you a very good rug.

I bought two of these runners, one in each color. They are beautiful, vibrant and really great quality despite the easy price. The "Green" rug has the following colors: green, burgundy, navy, ivory and beige. The "Ivory" rug also has the same variation of colors but it focuses more on the burgundy and Ivory tones. These rugs are pretty thin and I expected that upon purchase and I'm still waiting on the runner pads to go under these before I actually keep them out because they are REALLY slick so a rug pad is a must if you're planning to use them on hardwood/tile floors! Other than that, these are phenomenal rugs for the price!

These are really nice rugs, came rolled on tube and no putting everything in your house on top to get fold marks out, the pattern is beautiful, this picture does not do it justice. I have had many compliments on these and wait till you walk barefoot on them. They are silk and have backing on them and so soft. I bought 3 different sizes because the price was great and now I have to go back and find another set for other rooms

It is truly stunning! I love this rug! I just bought a second one in a different color! I wish there were more color options, but the green and red ivory are gorgeous! It is a very thin rug, but for the money, it is well worth it! I made sure to buy the grip cushion to go underneathe the rug to make it feel better, and so that it wouldn't move around or scratch the hardwood flooring. The design is so beautiful and it was delivered quicker than I thought it was going to. You won't be dissapointed!

To be fair I'm not sure what I was expecting though with this price lol.
