The Oyster Weight is a patented removable weight to make diving easier and safer. Because of unforeseen depth changes in our everyday diving the Oyster weight makes it extremely easy to add two pounds or take it off. Unlike standard weight, it can be rotated at a 45° degree angle and it will unlock from the weight belt easily without having to slide off the other weights and accessories. It will not slide off on accident and even when a weight belt is off the diver and the weight is upside down, it won't accidentally disengage. An original Jordan Hamilton & Mark Laboccetta design to make weight belt management more practical. Each Oyster Weight is 2.5 lbs. (1.13 kg).
