Super Tubies!
Tubie-grips are amazing. I first encountered them when I had to go to wound care for a non-healing ulcer. They used tubies over the gauze-wrap bandage on my leg. It served two purposes: 1) the gauze bandage stayed where it had been put, which if you've ever tried to wrap something in gauze, you know it slips, and 2) it served to gently compress the entire area of the leg that it covered, preventing it from ballooning up and actually reducing the existing swelling.Tubies come in one long tube, so you cut the length you need. They come in many sizes, from super tiny meant for your fingers, all the way up to quite large tubes meant for an abdominal or chest wrap. They are washable and dryable, but they do last longer if you air-dry them. Over time, they become looser, but you can sort of compensate for that by using 2 layers. If you are trying to heal a wound, especially one that has been hard to heal, I recommend using the tubies to cover the gauze wrap, so that you have moderate compression. This will keep your gauze in place and provide support and encourage good blood flow to your wounded body part.I also recommend tubies for helping tired and swollen legs. I have personally used a large tubie from my thigh to my knee, overlapping it with a tubie from my knee to my foot. Between the two of them, my leg swelling was greatly reduced, and my legs' tiredness and constant pain was much improved.

Such a great item for leg/knee-surgery patients!
After knee-replacement, my husband needed to ice his leg a lot. He also needed to 'wrap' the leg to protect the staples and incision. In the hospital, they used ace bandages over the skin, then the 'ice pad' from the ice-water circulating machine, then ANOTHER ace bandage to keep that in place. With all those elastic bandages, the wrinkles they were causing his skin where they bunched up got really painfully annoying, and putting them on and taking them off was a two-person job. When he got home, I purchased this 'sleeve', which was long enough to cover his whole leg, and then double back over, creating a 'pocket' in which to put the ice pad. Easy-peasy, and no wrinkles, no binding, no double-wrapping or discomfort at all. The tubular elastic bandage slipped on like a stocking and fit his leg securely yet comfortably. He used this bandage for a couple of weeks straight with no loss of stretch and very minimum of raveling, even though the ends are scissors-cut. I'm so happy I found this bandage!

Not as expected
I didn't like it because it's wayyyy to tight on my leg. I have cellulitis and use the sock covering the bandaged wound. Looked great. But looks can be deceiving.

Average Quality, Poor Value
The Medline brand tends to be fairly hit-and-miss in terms of both value and quality. This particular product, MediGrip Tubular Bandages, 1 yard, in size G is a definite miss.First off, as has been noted, the photograph is deceiving. However, the print is mostly accurate. You will not receive a role of tubular bandages. You will receive a 36" bandage, though mine actually was just above 24" and was definitely shy of what had been promised. The packaging was essentially a loose baggy containing the tubular bandage - not only was it not sterile it wasn't even clean. Those allergic to latex should take note that this does contain natural rubber latex. Again, this is on the page and should be noted. The quality is questionable at best. As noted, it was poorly packaged and this impacts effectiveness because it arrives as if it's been placed in a baggy. It's just a weird way to send health supplies. The bandage does have decent stretch and also has some compression qualities - so, I'm not going to completely criticize the item. It does have some effectiveness for those needing it for compression. It will, on some level, actually secure bandages.Overall, I'm definitely disappointed. This comes from Medline, a national brand but this falls short in terms of professional standards. The overall value is low and it is easy to find a higher quality product at a comparable and even better price. I absolutely will not be looking to Medline again for my bandaging needs. This is a disappointing experience with a product that doesn't deliver what is promised and falls short in terms of sizing and quality.

Has latex in it
It's probably my fault, but I didn't see anywhere in the information but the item is made with natural rubber latex. I'm highly allergic. So I felt like swallowing the entire bottle of benedryl but that has its own problems :) I'm kidding of course but I had to be entubated the first time snd I don't relish the idea of breathing through a straw again

BEST COMPRESSION BANDAGE EVER!
I have used these compression bandages, in various sizes, for several years. It works wells whether it's wet or dry. If I have a lot of pain in one of my legs, I wet the compression bandage and put it on my leg. It's amazing how great it feels when the bandage is wet. It take about 2 hours for it to dry out. I think it's better than an ice pack.

good support instead of compression socks
I ordered this item as I really need to wear compression stocking but have a hard time finding ones that fit as I have large calves. I find this product gives me enough compression to help and this is definitely easier to get on. The product has a lot of stretch when putting on but once on you can feel the support. This is not meant to take place of compression stocking but if you have a hard time getting some that fit without cutting off your circulation you might fine this product will help.

Make sure you check the size before ordering!
I ordered what I thought was a sleeve of bandage for my wrist/hand to use underneath a support; however, when I got the product it was way too big for my use. The bandage is perfect for large arms or for legs/ankles. the material is very good quality. It is not sheer nor does it adhere. Definitely not for the hand/wrist. I am using them anyway because of price. I just fold the excess bandage inside the wrist support.
