Easy to install in finished floor & precisely adjustable
I found this floor outlet to be extremely well designed and good quality. Easy to install and very adjustable to get it precisely level with the floor. It installed perfectly in my finished floor. Cut the simple 2.5” x 4” hole and attached the adjustment bracket to the underside of the sub-floor (ignore the countersinks). You will need an S2 (#8-9-10) square drive screwdriver for the adjusting screws. Another note: I wired the receptacle to the load side of a separate GFCI receptacle, good practice for an outlet in the floor.

Sturdy, easy to install.
Sturdy, easy to install, cover could be a little larger (LenxWid) to better accomodate finish flooringdoes not come with wire relief.

Good value.
The box is extremely sturdy and the brass plate is as well. Very good price. I installed 3 of them and had no problems.

Rugged floor outlet
Well-constructed floor outlet. Takes a bit of time to install the first one, but easy once you figure it out. Height adjustment is a breeze so you can match the finish floor exactly. Is meant to be installed into the sub-floor with the finish floor installed over them. At that point, height adjustment can be made.

Caution: plug face is not flush with the cover
I like the outlet and box, however, in order to allow the screw-in covers to screw in and seal the outlets, the face of the plug itself remains about 1/16"-3/32" (2-3mm) behind the face of the outlet cover. This causes any plug that is larger than the 1-1/4" (round) hole in the cover to not seat fully flat with the plug face. I have two low-profile powerstrips plugged in to my floor outlet (running underneath two loveseats) and the larger off-set low-profile plug does not stay plugged in. The annoying spring-loaded "safety" interior terminal shields (that keep a kid from sticking a paperclip in the outlet) that you have to overcome by forcing the plug into the socket, tend to eject the plug if it is not fully seated. Similarly, the large "wall wart" on many computer power adapters do not stay plugged in and any slight jostling of the cord will dislodge the plug from the outlet. :-(At first I thought it was a design flaw in that the outlets were too large and did/could not protrude through the thickness of the brass cover to be flush with the surface, but realized that this is by design to allow the receptacle to be covered/sealed by the removable screw-in covers. So, I can either have the ability to cover the plugs at some point in the future, OR be able to keep things plugged in. The brass should be fairly soft, they are under a corner table between two love seats, so they will always have two power strips plugged into them, so I'm going to just grind out the threads in the cover plate to make the holes big enough that the receptacle will protrude enough through the cover to be flush with the surface of the plate.FYI, this may not apply in your situation, but this might also be a deal breaker if you need both secure covers AND a secure plug.

Best if installed before finish flooring.
This product works best when installed in a subfloor, before you lay carpet, tile, or wood finish flooring. If installed on finished flooring, it will sit up about a quarter of an inch. The idea is that you can adjust the final height to work with whatever the height of your finish flooring is. To easily remove the screw-in outlet caps, set a quarter in the slot and then use a pliers to grab the quarter and unscrew the cap. Overall installation was quite easy.

Receptacle cover does not match the receptacle
Completely disappointed this is crap. The cover does not match. The receptacle, therefore does not lay flat.Trying to reach the vendor listed by Amazon to see what can be done to correct this
