Fin FunAtlantis Mermaid Tail for Swimming with Reinforced Tips and Monofin - Adult & Teen Sizes

I've only worn it three times, but each instance has been a lot of fun!The thing to keep in mind is that you DO want to practice with the monofin (the solid fluke portion that goes on your feet) and make sure you're comfortable swimming in that before adding the fish-skin (the fabric part that goes over the fluke and your legs and actually makes you look like a mermaid). The technique takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have the swimming down, you can frolic in the waves as much as you want! The printed colors are very nice and bright, I like that the tips of the tail fins are reinforced to prevent the monofin from ripping through. Felt true to size (I have broad hips and had to get their largest size, but it went on just fine). Good product for the price...there are more elaborate mermaid fin sets out there that go for hundreds of dollars, but this is only about $110 for both the fin and the skin, more than reasonable.I'm only just getting into mermaid swimming, this was a solid set for my first mermaid getup (and hopefully not my last!)Final note: Amazon's selection from this brand is a bit limited in the size/colors, if you go to the actual FinFun website, they have a lot more color options!

Fits wonderfully, feels like a sturdy material, simple instructions, however, remind you this is delicate and not to be brushed against hard surfaces and that goes without saying in the Hawaiian islands where coral and lava rock can tear anything. Love that the suit has an easy slit at bottom to insert monofin. You put it on while completely reduced to carefully slide your feet one at a time in each hole of your monofin after you’ve inserted your monofin from the bottom slit. I have yet to try in water but it feels comfortable and looks amazing. Merman’s/Mermaids unite!!! Screw the haters I’m gonna live my best merman 🧜‍♂️ life.

This is a beautiful, reasonably-priced tail and the extra fins add a lot of interest. I love it! Now the monofin itself is okay, and can be used alone, but because your feet are together in just a big open pocket under the fabric it can be hard to keep the monofin straight if you try to turn. It's a little better if you're wearing the monofin with the tail, I think. Perhaps wearing some socks would also help. Still, all other safety precautions being taken, this is a very good and practical tail-and-monofin set.

It has glitter in it which I didn’t expect. I heard it ran small so I got a medium instead of a small and I’ll say I should’ve gotten a small… the tail is cute and nice quality it seems. The mono fin is hard to squeeze into but I have huge feet lol. Over all I’d say it’s good. Now to see how it performs in the water…

This fin fit her perfectly. She wouldn’t take it off for 2 days. She is going to have a blast with it this summer. Will update this review as it gets in the water.

The monofin is definitely different but my stepdaughter loves it cause it looks more realistic! I had issues with the delivery for my package and it didn't make it on time for her bday but the seller was so fast to respond and send another one and I'm so grateful! The media could not be loaded. Used it all summer and everyone who saw it loved it ! The fit is accurate to the size scale and the quality of the material and design is terrific! Colour is brilliant and beautiful…easy to get in and out of , and stays on well in the water while swimming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some cost effective mermaid tail fun!

I love this tail! The color gorgeous and I love the extra fins on the back and sides. I have worn it in the pool, it took a little getting used to but once I got the hang of it, it was so much fun! And of course everyone was jealous! The only thing is that you need to remember that it is delicate and fabric so if you want to sit on the edge of the pool or on any surface that can catch or pole just put down a towel and keep it nice. I found The tail to be true to size. I’m not posting a picture because I’m a Fat10 who doesn’t photograph well LOL
