Village Collection Racoon Trash Bandits #42878

Disappointed in the size and quality for the price.

They are a light tan with huge white eyes with a pin prick of a pupil. These do not look like raccoons. The raccoon is the far right looks like it doesn't even have an eye. I made the mistake by not looking at other people's pictures. I will return this.

Just received my cute Garbage Can Bandits and though they are adorable, the middle raccoon was missing his right ear. We thought of keeping him and create a story how he lost a fight with a badger, since it is painted over as if the person responsible for coloring the figurine totally missed the fact that it was missing an ear and painted it black. I feel they at least should have alerted Quality Control. Of course, these 'artists' aren't being paid to catch boo-boos. Also, this same 'artist' was a bit too liberal with the white of eyes (they look rather 'surprised') and was a bit stingy with the black stripes. I would take a picture of the figurine but I don't want to take it out of the case if I decide to return it. I can easily rectify the stripes and the eyes with a little modeling paint, but my money should pay for a job well done. Three stars for cuteness, two minus stars for the missing ear and a sloppy paint job.

Loved it on my Christmas village

The colors aren’t as seen in the picture. Maybe this is some rare arctic breed of raccoon but to me they are barely recognizable as raccoons. They almost look more like cats except for the little raccoon hands.
