much brighter than Jeep's OEM
my stock Jeep Wrangler came with German Vosla 28092 (basic model) from the factory. I thought I would upgrade to Philips X-tremeVision to see, how much brighter it becomes. It's kinda a pain to remove headlight bulbs on a Wrangler. After removing the grille and headlight assembly (held by T15 bits), new Philips bulbs were put in.Just by turning the lights on in the garage after installation, I could already tell right away they were brighter. Then I went for a test drive around the neighborhood and yes, these lights definitely shine much brighter on the road. Good upgrade for my Jeep! Let's see, how long they last. Given the lifetime estimate on the box (up to 150 hours), it should probably give me 3-4 years seeing I dont drive at night much and luckily Jeep doesnt have daytime running lights :-)Feb 28, 2020 update: Just got back from a long road trip (around 3000 miles): Those headlight bulbs made a big difference on the road. I noticed the low beams were strong enough so that most of the time, I didnt even run high beams. Was definitely worth the money to upgrade these. Finally, I feel my Jeep Wrangler has got adequate head lights on the road.

Overall these are pretty good bulbs for the price
I purchased these for my 2004 Ford F150 FX4 5.4L. Overall these are pretty good bulbs for the price. Light covers a decent distance in front and to the sides of my 2004 Ford F150 FX4. Easy to install and required no instructions and gave me no issues. Not as white and bright as I would have liked but this is a good product if you are looking to replace your standard headlights with something just as similar. Not super bright and overpowering for the vehicles driving in front of you either.

Excellent bulbs, repeat purchase after first set burned out after 4 years of service.
This is my second set of these in my F150 pickup, the first set lasted approx 4 years. The old set were 80% brighter than OEM the packaging now says 100% brighter so i guess they've done some upgrades to the product over the years. They do in fact seem to be slightly brighter over the previous set and are a huge improvement over the OEM bulbs. Some people have complained about live expectancy, I looked into this long ago when i bought my first set of these bulbs. It's a complicated set of variables but essentially they're brighter so they won't last as long as OEM bulbs that's what it boils down to. But like I said, i got 4 years out of my last pair.

not the greatest
First pack i received was open and used , had to get replacements sent and return the first set , I do not like them as there not a brighter white light like most of todays lights , they say there 100% brighter and more coverage but i dont see a brightness to them and they still seem a yellowish light to me .

Bought for a Jeep Wrangler!
Bought for a Jeep Wrangler that had awful night time visibility. This was a big upgrade. Driving at night went from feeling dangerous to very acceptable, my idea of very acceptable is like you average late 90's model car like a Honda Civic or something like that. The Jeep headlight housings themselves are still pretty bad but i do feel much more confident driving at night. If you have a Jeep Wrangler and are on a budget this is a great upgrade. If you have a few more bucks to spend upgrade the entire headlight housings. Search for a youtube video on how to change the headlights, it's not difficult on a Wrangler, you just need to know what to do, took about 30 minutes with a buddy and we also adjusted the angle on the headlights which we also learned from another youtube video.

Defective bulb blew high beam fuses.
Short story: The high beam filament was defective on one of the two bulbs. The defective bulb blew both of my high beam fuses. Spent a total of 1.5 hours on a 3 minute job including going to the auto parts store and buying new fuses and bulbs (Sylvannia this time).Longer story: The defective bulb blew the high beam fuse for my left headlight. Not knowing the bulb was defective yet, I tried the bulb on the right side and blew the high beam fuse on the right side also. Finally taking a look at the bulb, it was apparent there was a manufacturing defect with the high beam filament. Needing the bulbs for travel the next day I had no choice but to go buy new fuses and bulbs (at full retail) from the auto parts store. This ordeal wasted about an hour and a half of my Sunday evening that I was trying to spend with my family.

Best halogen upgrade
Best halogen upgrade. Brightest bulb I’ve used that lasts and doesn’t burn out in few months. You won’t get crystal clear white light but what you get is bright light that is superior over stock bulbs that car companies put in new cars, the “standard” bulbs that last long but are dim. Won’t match LED strips that everybody now puts in their cars but then decides to put yellow halogens as the main headlight. Make it all LED or drop the LED strips that are miss matched with standard bulbs but I digress. Great product.
