Ceccoli Tarot Mini Cards – February 8, 2016

I got this deck for Shadow & Inner Child Work, plus I'm a fan of Nicoletta's work.This deck showcases some of Nicollet Ceccoli's work from 2006 - 2014I can tell by some of these reviews that some got this deck because of the children book look (no problem with that), but didn't look closer at the images & were surprised by some of the depictions & theme and/or don't understand Surrealism Art.Think light/dark, innocence/the lost of it.I usually buy small decks because I have small hands. These cards are even smaller than all my other mini decks.The weight of the cards is fine, but I hate the glossy cardstock they used; it takes away from the quality of the beautiful artwork and they fly right out of your hands when trying to shuffle the deck.I like the little book that comes with it, but I wish it had the name of each piece of art on the deck since the titles actually give context.So my advice would be to write the titles of the pieces down somewhere.I liked the meaning for each card, but wish they wrote one for the reverse meanings as well, made it seem 1 sidedGiven it 4 stars - do to the glossy cardstock and the missing information in the bookSo far the deck has been dead on and has made me feel a knot in my stomach - shadow work is not pretty and can be triggering.

I was drawn to this deck but I have yet to feel intuitive with this particular deck. It is fun and interesting but I personally am just not able to receive or connect with this deck. To me the images are very vague.

I personally love this deck for clarification or getting in touch with your inner child… it offers a unique and vulnerable perspective. Beautiful artwork… 100% recommend

Beautiful, sturdy little cards. I instantly fell in love with the original artwork and find it interesting how the imagery lends itself to an alternate perspective for the reader, from the regular tarot imagery, which can be refreshingly enlightening.Highly recommended for an advanced intuitive reader or just to enjoy the amazingly detailed artistry.

If you like creepy cards these are for you. My intention was to get them for my daughter for her birthday recently because her name is Nicoletta and her last name is very close to the artists. The cards looked cute and a little interesting is fine but she was creeped out by them. So now it was kind of a waste of money because she's not going to use them.

Interesting and whimsical cards take the Rider-Waite format to a different level. Images on these tiny cards don't necessarily offer the exact same interpretations as the RW format although they are often closely related. For example, the Two of Cups in RW often signifies a union of souls in some type of partnership, be it romantic or business or friendship. However, the image on this deck depicts twin girls in an embrace, which can also be interpreted as an awakening to self-love. The accompanying book is very difficult to read for older eyes. The lens strength of my reading glasses are 1.0, and I had a difficult time reading this book. If you take a stronger prescription then you might need a magnifying glass to read this book. For serious students of the tarot, this deck is wonderful in providing some deeper insights and possibilities into card meanings. If your eyesight isn't too bad, and you are already well-versed in the meaning of tarot, and you want a travel deck, I strongly recommend these cards. Only the numbers of the Major Arcana are written on the cards, so they are not well-suited for newbies. I like it that they don't take up too much space in my purse. In this regard, they were exactly what I was looking for.

This is an awesome deck! Very petite! Great for traveler to throw in your pocketbook. The artwork is very beautiful and whimsical. I am planning on ordering the larger deck as well. If you have visual issues of any sort I would go with the larger deck from the start, if not go for it! You'll love it!

This is such a cute beck. I really like this deck. All the pictures are amazing!!! My only complaint is that the deck is very small I'm actually going to be getting the Orical and normal sized deck just so I can see the detail better. The pictures are very detailed and hard to see the little signs that are small even on the regular sized deck. I would get it if you are if your on cash and really like the deck. It is a very good price for what you get. Gorgeous pics! But the white book that is comes with is almost useless. I have watched unboxing videos for the regular sized deck and they give you more info in the regular deck white book.i think the white book is very important for this deck because of the cards varied meanings to the regular rider Waite deck. If your a beginner get a regular deck for the white book or a small rider Waite and small ceccoli deck as I did to learn tarot.

The deck is damn beautiful. But man, is the production cheap. I mean, yeah, it's a usable 78-card tarot deck for £5, it was never going to be the best-made deck ever, but... A lot of other people have said these are too small to be able to appreciate the art. And you know, I disagree. I think it WOULD be big enough, except the printing quality just isn't there. I mean, yes, bigger would be even nicer, and I'll probably get the full-sized deck at some point, but if it just weren't so muddy-looking, I feel like I'd be perfectly happy with the size. Card stock is thin, with the sort of laminate that feels like it's not going to last very long before it starts to peel. The box is pure junk, but that's par for the course for LoScar, I guess.Gorgeous deck in a great size, being dragged down by bad construction. What a shame. I wasn't expecting great print quality AND great card stock AND a great box, all for £5. Let's get real. But... it would have been nice to have at least one of the three.Still gonna use this. And because it's only £5, I felt like it still deserved 4 stars... just.But I also thought people deserved to know this is a deck you're going to have to baby. I'm making a little leather sachet for it as we speak...

Instantly love and bond with this delightful tarot deck, beutifull illustrations and a nice size if you have small hands.

The full size deck is a favourite of mine, with its seemingly childish images that have a far deeper ambiguity. I find mini decks useful to lay out larger patterns for contemplation, and these are nicely produced and durable.

The sweetest little tarot-deck; like made for a doll. And yet you can read with it. The LWB is excellent. The pictures are cute (but grown-up;nothing for kids).Mostly to be read with intuitively. A darling deck.

Not too keen, will send them to a friend who may love them, too small.
