A Truly Lovely Story
Fay Keenan does it again! What I love about her stories is the element of realism, the funny awkward moments, and the amazing passion between her characters. This is a truly lovely story, with a feisty heroine and a super-hot hero in uniform, and a little bit of Shakespeare and a hint of Christmas thrown in the mix.

Heartwarming, romantic, festive read
This is the second novel I have read by Fay Keenan and it really put a smile on my face. Florence has just moved to the beautiful village of Willowbury and is quickly attracted to her (gorgeous!) rescue ambulance helicopter pilot, Sam. Thrown together in their local modernised Shakespearean play only sets off more sparks between them, but Sam struggles with problems in his personal life that threaten to tear them apart. I loved everything about this book - from the insights into rescue services, to the wonderful way the author adds Shakespearean touches to the plot itself. I also got a bit of a thrill when some of the characters from Book 1: 'A Place to Call Home' popped up in the story (MP Charlie Thorpe!). I can't wait to read the next novel in this fabulous Willowbury series. Highly recommend.

Disappointing
This novel needs editing. There are too many quizzical glances and lingering looks and too many repetitions of situations as though the reader hasn't understood in the first place. Unfortunately, the author's gentle setting and idyllic location was interrupted by coarse explicit sexual language which didn't suit the overall tone of the novel. From the beginning the outcome was completely predictable and I skimmed the pages because I failed to be gripped with the characters. A disappointing read.

A heartwarming read.
I know for some that reading a Christmas story in August is just one step too far for an already crazy 2020, but I promise you, you won't regret picking up SNOWFLAKES OVER BAY TREE TERRACE by Fay Keenan. When Florence inherits a house from her deceased great-aunt, she decides it is time for a new life and takes a leap of faith by moving to the beautiful little town of Willowbury. With a new teaching job, a new place to explore, and new friends to make, Florence is busier than she could imagine, and love is the last thing on her mind, even though her slightly brooding next-door-neighbour, Sam, makes her heart flutter just a little bit. But as always, the past is never too far away, and they are both very different people with a lot going on in their lives. But as the snow begins to fall, could a little magic help them on their way to love? With loveable characters, a stunning setting, and a lovely atmosphere that worked its magic on me as a reader, SNOWFLAKES OVER BAY TREE TERRACE by Fay Keenan is simply wonderful. The author has a talent for weaving the character's emotions in such a way that you feel it all right there with them and I smiled, teared up, and fell in love with them all so easily that I could not put this book down.SNOWFLAKES OVER BAY TREE TERRACE is a must-read this winter season so make sure it's on your list. You won't regret it!!

Good read!
Fay Keenan's book, Snowflakes Over Bay Tree Terrace", is a good read. The storyline and characters are very real. I would have preferred to not have the cursing in it though.
