My upstairs bathroom had no shower, just a tub. The roof pitches in so it'd awkward. It's primarily used by my kids. I needed to retrofit a shower that was adjustable for the kids and fit in that space, and wasn't uber cheap.We ended up installing it to the wall and hooking the hose to the bathtub faucet.I'm satisfied with this product. The kids have found a happy spot to keep the wand. Installation was simple. We've been using it a month now and there are no leaks. The gaskets and Teflon tape are your friend here.

The head itself could be larger, but because of that I never installed this item.

Excellent product. 3 function showerhead is useful, the brackets can be adjusted anywhere along the rod for easy install. You do need to screw into the wall, or tile in my case. Some other models are stick on if you aren't wanting to drill. The hose is stiff at first but loosens over time and it can reach anywhere in a 60in length shower. The only thing it doesn't come with is an elbow to attach to for the water.

The shower was originally built for a very tall person. I could not reach the shower head! This solved the problem. My plumber installed it for me and I can now adjust the height of the head for me or anyone else in the family who might be even shorter. Great product.

This is very lightly built with not much metal in it, so its longevity is in question -- only time will tell. The angle adjustment for the handpiece holder is a ratchet: you just grab the handpiece and "click" it to where you want it. Again, this is all very lightly built and how long the mechanism will last remains to be seen. I've marked it down a couple of stars for this reason only. Otherwise the design is excellent and installation (a retrofit for an ancient Kohler predecessor) was a breeze. I like the handpiece: light, enough shape to the handle that it's easy to control without slipping, and three spray patterns that suit my needs completely. Many reviewers have said that the hose is way too stiff and prevents the handpiece from settling in the fixture properly. My solution: I laid the coiled hose on a piece of aluminum foil in a cold oven, set the temp to 125, and closed the door. I checked it several times, but by five minutes the hose had relaxed very nicely (an extra couple of minutes might have been even better, but I didn't want to wreck it). I took it out, straightened it, connected it to the supply and the handpiece, then set the handpiece in the holder. The hose cooled into the perfect curve for its new home and has presented no problems at all in use with no signs of wanting to return to its old coil -- it works just like the old one did with plenty of flexibility, a joy to use.

A very good well-made solid looking and feeling unit. Especially the spray head and the action of the slider bar. But you'll find that stepping into the shower that there's an angry anaconda waiting to strangle you. Kohler hoses are WAY TOO STIFF, they won't lay flat, they'll twist the shower head OUT of the mount if you're not careful, and even if it doesn't, it'll usually aim the spray at the shower wall. Trying hot water for a long time through the hose doesn't loosen it up at all.I bought a Moen hose, and it's nice and tame, hangs nicely against the wall when not in use, and won't torque the shower head and spray the walls instead of *you*.
