I have a tween getting curious about the opposite sex and my husband wanted to give him a Playboy, like he was given during that time. Unfortunately, Playboy is now out of print and I am not comfortable allowing him to view this kind of material on the web, while I have no objections in general, I feel at this age what he sees needs to be more controlled than the net will allow.After a long search I settled on getting him a copy of the SI Swimsuit Issue 2020, the suits have always been a bit racy so I felt it was a good middle ground based on the available options.Imagine my surprise when I opened this mag up and saw, not only women of all different colors, but also plus sized women! I was so happy to see the inclusivity as we are trying to teach our son to value all people and exposing him to the idea that beautiful is more than thin white women is important.There is another review on here from a parent that sums it up better than I can, all I can say is, I am very happy with this purchase and glad to see SI branching out and recognizing beauty is everywhere.

So...this is probably one of those awkward reviews you don't want to read, but I have a fresh take. It's Covid, and my boy is getting older and close to acting goofy around girls without knowing why but not so old that I am going to send him off to the internet to masturbate. It's times like this, that you really wish Sears didn't go bankrupt because that is the appropriate type of images for a 9 to 11 year old boy who is just discovering the magic of boobs. So, there's no girls to ogle at school, no internet I'll give him, so my hubs and I went in on this purchase for him to bequeath at some appropriate time like the family sword (no pun intended). And, flipping through this, being very mindful of how women shouldn't be objectified and held up to unreasonable expectations of beauty, I felt uplifted. It has a wide range of women....thin, thick, all over and all in all sexy. So thank you Sports Illustrated for letting boys chub it up in a better way that sees the beauty in women all over!
