A Great Escape Gift For Gardener
Purchased as a gift for my sister, who is an avid gardener. I thought it would be a great escape for a bad weather day. Who wouldn't love to get lost in the private gardens of Europe? When it arrived I did thumb through it and thought it was just what I was hoping. I sent it to her and she loves it. I'd recommend.

Inspirational, gorgeous gardens. Excellent photos.
Inspirational. Gorgeous gardens. And though most are big gardens, there are many ideas, inspirations, combinations that one can use in a small garden. These are the personal gardens of truly inspired gardeners. So this is not "gardens of the rich and famous", but rather gardens of those who love beauty and COLOR and nature and planting and planting and planting. I also highly recommend "Dreamscapes" by Claire Takacs and "Wild" by Claire Takacs and Noel Kingsbury which are similarly inspiring.

Lovers of creativity and beauty: Enjoy a romp through this book.
Traveling to experience good garden design is my kind of holiday. While I haven’t yet taken advantage of a CarexTours with author Carolyn Mullet, I look forward to it. Carolyn is a professional garden designer with years of exposure to great gardens around the world, particularly in Europe. I purchased extra copies as gifts to fellow garden lovers and designers: Joy to us all! Highly recommend.

book identifies the plants pictured, huge bonus
I have many 'coffee table' books of gorgeous gardens, and this would fall into that category, but why I would highly recommend this book is the added bonus of cations under photos that id the prominent plants pictured. As an actual gardener that loves inspiration, I also very much love information. Ms Mullet delivers on both fronts.

I wanted more!
I loved the choice of gardens, the photos, the plants, and the descriptions of the gardens. I just wanted more - more photos, more discussion of plant choices, more background on the gardens, owners and designers. The Swedish garden was just out of a novel I was reading set in Sweden.

Gorgeous and well written
It’s obvious that the author has a real passion for gardens, I can’t imagine the research she must have done to make this book. It’s such a beautiful book, my kids have been looking at the pictures too. A perfect antidote to the quarantine blues!

Interessante e inspirador

Fantastic photos
Thus was a present for a formerly avid gardener but now forced to be an armchair gardener and direct operations from his chair. He has read many, many gardening books and now enjoys seeing the fruits of others labour's. This book does not disappoint! It has page after page of glorious gardens from around the world with text from the garden owners. It is a large tome which has kept him page turning for several weeks.A most appreciated present for any garden lover.

Poor quality printing
While the subject matter is great, the low budget printing and inconsistent photography quality let's this book down massively. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.
