This is the best food we ever bought. Our turtles seem to love it and we love that it doesn’t dirty the tank like every other turtle food does. We’ve tried countless other brands and they cloud the turtle water. We’ve been using this for years and it’s never dirtied the water. Won’t buy any other brand.

Was recommended by a reptile place. The water does stay clearer when my turtle is eating this. she enjoys it too.

RES turtle loves it. Ingredients are great and pellets stay afloat a long time. Turtles are a lot of work to keep clean and healthy but this food may help some in maintaining water quality with your regular water changes and tank maintenance. It has an herbal and fishy scent and think it would appeal most to omnivorous turtles.

I have a 19 year old red eared slider. She is PICKY. Prefers "junk food" over better quality like any teenager🙃At her age we have tried So MANY foods...and she consistently appreciates lesser quality...Until Hikari!Turtles create A LOT of Waste. The claim on this food, I was Very suspicious of...Until I Tried it, She Miraculously LOVES it, and in our case, Cleaner Water, Less Odor and more efficient digestion have ALL been TRUE!We no longer use a huge canister filter, but a powerful Seachem Hang-On-Back for her 90 gallon home.Regular cleanings are SO Much less time consuming. Full tank cleanings used to take about 5 cycles of empty/fill. Now I achieve the same result in just TWO!Ingredients are some of the best. No artificial colors, flavors or firming agents.Supplemented with her veggies, lower sugar fruits in moderation and occasional high-protein treats (appropriate diet for her age), this food just cannot begin to compete with anything on the normal commercial market.This is the BEST price I could find on this food; though for us, we have been willing to pay Much Higher prices at our local small business pet stores.This seller was prompt, food packaging was not wrinkled or compressed like it had been mishandled. Product is fresh with appropriate "Use By" date.

My adult turtles both love this food. Has a weird smell, but that’s per the norm when buying any turtle food. Recommended!
