Works well
Easy to apply, seems to work well, priced affordably, backed by the Jamestown/TotalBoat name. Will buy again.

Great paint in my opinion
Any bottom paint is great as long as your prep is done correctly and you clean the surface your painting the right way. Everyone has there own way of doing something but if your prep isn't right then you can't blame the paint.

Impressed with results
Each year I use the least expensive antifouling paint I can find.I bought this because the lower cost paint was out of stock, and I can tell the difference is like night and day.My boat has been sitting in the water for 3 months and there's nothing attached or growing on the sides that I can see.In the past there would be algae growing within the 1st month.I won't know how the bottom held up until I pull the boat out for the season, but I expect it to better than the past using cheaper paint. The cost was worth it.

Would not stick to my boat
I bought 2 gallons of this paint from my 25 foot Parker. My boat had never had bottom paint on it before and was all Jelco. I had a shipyard sand down the hole of my boat and applied this paint. I paid good money and unfortunately, the paint would not stick to the bottom of my boat. The Boat yard said that they had never seen paint not stick to a boat like this before. I then drove the boat from the shipyard in the water to my slip and areas began sluffing off. I would not recommend this product.

Delivered with paint everywhere
Opening the box there was red paint all over the inside. There seems to be enough paint to finish the job I am doing.

Very impressive application quality with painting suit, roller, pan and stir sticks
I have been using various bottom paints wince about 1983. This review has no bias for or against JD Select, in that I bought the product. It was not supplied at reduced cost for a review. OK, so my boat is 41 feet and requires between two and three gallons. I open the first gallon and found very little settling of the heavier compounds. A few minutes with the supplied stir stick, and into the supplied roller pan and application with the supplied roller. Excellent coverage. Very smooth line free dried result. It was 52 degree F and the paint was dry enough to recoat in a little over one hour. No smell at all. I didn't miss the fumes from solvent based paints. Back from the marina I found some paint on my arm, dried. Two seconds under the faucet and the dried paint was gone. The application phase couldn't have gone better. The look of the paint and coverage is excellent. How well will it perform? Only time will tell, I can't review that at this point.

Great product from what I can remember
Three stars because I know the product is great, I’ve used it before. I don’t recommend buying from Amazon if you have any plans of using your boat anytime soon. Boat has been sitting on cribbing for a month waiting for paint that was supposed to be here in a couple days. Seems improbable that UPS lost first order and then the replacement order but they did or it was not packaged well and they disposed of it. Either way, boat is going back on the trailer for the summer without paint. It’s too hot to stare at the boat in the driveway. I’ll pick some up next time I’m at west marine or keep trying on Amazon just for the fun of it.
