This is well made and at a fair price.

I don't know why people buy $200 or more for a freakin tarp like this. These are a bargain.

I used the footprint for a 2 day trip at a state park. It kept the bottom of my tent dry despite lots of dew on the grass. If it holds up, this will be a great purchase.The major downside to this is the tiny stuff sack the provide. Will it fit? Yes, if you're lucky. If you're like me trying to fold it a million times and place it back in the bag, probably not. As I was trying to wedge it into the bag, one of the seams broke on it. This tells me the sack is poorly made and if it doesn't fit, don't try to jam it in there otherwise it will break (hasn't happened to ANY of the other items that came with stuff sacks- pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.

Bought this to use as a footprint for the new The North Face wawona 6 tent and it's almost a perfect fit. Much cheaper than the one from TNF.

We purchased this tarp just a bit larger than our pack tent, to provide both ground cover and a bit of a porch beyond our tent entrance. It packs easily, and performs as needed.

I have (2) of the small size that I've used on several hunting trips & they ARE actually waterproof to the point of any other gear I have. They ARE lightweight like no other tarp/ground-cover I've found. They ARE certainly worth the price & are a pretty strong product in my opinion. I will buy more, possibly of other sizes, and will definitely recommend them to friends.The ONE disappointment that I have is that there are a bit fewer tie-off points/grommets than I originally hoped to see, but that in no way diminishes their effectiveness to do what they are designed to do. It simply makes me have to tie a couple extra lines to make it truly secure.Honestly, this is by far the best lightweight backpacking tarp I've yet found & I'm 20+ years into that endeavor, so please take this for what you will...Is it the strongest ground-sheet? Probably not.. It's lightweight & meant to be used for certain things.Is it the best tarp on the market? Probably not, but again, it's super-light & meant for certain things.Simple truth; I use them for ultralight packing & don't expect them to last 20 yrs... I need ultralight gear and these are built for THAT purpose. If I get 5 yrs out of them at this price; then I'm happy with that. So far they are 3 years in & holding great! I will not pack 4-6 lbs of tarps 5 mi. into my spring bear hunt if I can help it.. these are just what I wanted & needed. But if you are camping from your car, get something heavier, something more substantial, something you know will last and you don't worry about weight... those things will last over time! These are tarps built for a specific purpose, and they are great at what they do. Know your product before you buy!Happy Camping to you all!

I ordered the same size foot print REI was selling and this one sticks out all sides be 2-3 inches. Perfect if you want a wet tent.
