Taiwan Ali-Shan Oolong Tea/ Green Tea - Taiwan High Mountain Grown Tea Premium Quality

This is one of the best tea I ordered from Amazon. I'm a selective tea drinker with tea brought back from Taiwan tea farm by my friends. I have tried some other tea brands, but none has the aroma and taste similar to the tea directly from Taiwan. Let me quantify this a little. The aroma and taste is very close, but this is surely a lower grade. However, the cost is much less than what I can get from Taiwan, maybe 50% less.The way I prepared my tea is:1. Place one layer of tea in the tea steeping mug(as in the picture), fill it with 20% of boiling water and swirl it for 5 seconds then drain it out. Just discard the liquid.2. Fill up the mug with boiling water and steep it for 1 minute. Pour it in a tea cup and enjoy. The second steep is 30 second. The third is 30 second, and the fourth is 1 minute.The second steep is the best one. The fourth steep starts to have some bitterness and the taste is a little astringent, but the color and aroma are still enjoyable. One can try the fifth steep, but I suggest to use for ice tea, as it already lost most of the taste.I just replenished my supply with tea from the tea farm, but in a pinch I would order this tea again if my supply runs out.

Quality is surprisingly good. I've been trying another seller's high mountain tea but was discontinued. Tried this one and found it very good. Tea leaves seemed to be very fresh and the aroma was perfect. The tea itself has a great light green color, perfect with glassware and must prepare with boiling hot water to fully release its aroma.It'll be nice if the seller could indicate the age of the tea. Overall, 5-star, highly recommended.

I really like this oolong tea. I am disappointed that this second purchase has so many more sticks in it than before and it's supposed to be the same tea. Did I get shipped another product?

This may be the same tea my friend from Taiwan gave me years ago that made me start drinking tea. I have been looking for this kind of tea for a while but since I don't read Taiwanese, I spent quite amount of money purchasing on a trial and error basis but failed. The taste, aroma, and smoothness are the same. This tea is full of young leaves & no stems, unlike my earlier purchases. I hope this tea remains the same for a while because I will definitely order another as soon as I run out. I purchased this based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews & I succeeded.

For me, Ali Shan green oolong is the pinnacle of teas-- it has savory and floral essences that other green oolong seem to lack. The tea from this seller is of excellent quality and my sense of taste confirms that it is exactly the tea it promises to be.Perhaps it's expensive, but it's luxury tea at a luxury price-- and the deal from this seller was too good to pass up for the genuine article.Fast and courteous service too. I'll buy from here again.

I was lucky to have a similar product from the Alishan mountains around a decade ago. This is one of the best tea drinking experiences I have had ever and I am a seasoned, well-versed lover of teas. The price is steep but get it while you can. Oh, and it arrived two weeks ahead of schedule. This seller and product earned their stars.

I'm a fan of Taiwan tea, however I was surprised at how small the amount was for nearly $30. It's about 1... maybe 2 weeks supply of tea and I believe there are much better values out there. I wouldn't recommend as the price to product ratio appears significantly off.

The tea has a full bodied flavor without bitterness. I drink it on ice every morning.
