Super clear, it's almost too powerful.
The minimum zoom is good for 50 yards and i am sure you can get good results at 300 yards+. at 100 yards a steel plate the size of a torso you can see in the scope perfectly. The scope does not have a cross hair or mills it is completely transparent and the "tripod" is mediocre at best. the wind will make your scope wiggle a bit and the hole for your eye is very very small so it's almost impossible to put an iphone on there cause the dumb camera changes on the iphone. For the price, i can't complain.

Worth Every Penny and more
The media could not be loaded. The Glasshawk was easy to get going right out of the box along with my iPhone 6, and I've attached here the very first two visuals I captured. The video of the mourning dove is in HIGH WIND and from 25 yds. If zoomed in on you can catch the feather folds, and blowing downy ones. The still shot is of a female brown-headed cowbird from 30+ yards. Also, high wind. It took a while (10 minutes+) to get the iPhone adjusted to the lens. The adapter is primitive, and uses a poorly manufactured suction cup grab. I will reference a much better adapter at the end which took me literally 2 minutes to attach & adjust, and was well worth $36.00 on Amazon. I don't recommend spending less. You will get something inferior. The Glasshawk doesn't advertise its minimum focal distance. On mine it was 36'-3." On inquiry they informed me it was 33.' They could vary scope to scope who knows… I'm still rating The Glasshawk at 5 stars in spite of this and the adapter. Everything else is great. It's well made, has great 2 double-focus system, and easily compares to scopes at $300+. The tripod is flimsy, but I didn't plan to use it anyway. I wanted a more professional one. The case is great. I recommend this product without hesitancy. It's simple. For the price it would be difficult to include a pricey table tripod and a fool-proof adapter. The price would have to jump $100, and I wanted a $175.00 tripod anyway to catch fluid video when I upgrade to an iPhone 11ProMax next month. It's obvious to me that Creative XP put all their money into R&D, and manufacturing quality at an affordable price. It also has better eye relief (for eyeglass wearers) than some spotting scopes at twice the price. This was important to me. I wear them full time. At the price this is the spotting scope to grab up.Recommended cell phone adapter (attached quickly and is adjustable 3 ways easily – search the following label on Amazon. It gives the max width of smartphone that adapts. It doesn't say so but I measured and an iPhone 11 will also fit): - SOLOMARK Cellphone Mount for Vortex Bushnell Celestron Barska Spotting ScopeBig Eyepiece Works with Binoculars, Spotting Scope, Telescope, and Almost all Smartphones -

Good scope, especially for such a modest price!
I have built or purchased large telescopes (mirrors 24" across) so I am reasonably familiar with optics and why good ones cost a lot of money, so I made my purchase of this budget scope with low expectations. It exceeded them significantly-- the optics were crisp at low power, gave a reasonably illuminated image at high power even on a cloudy/overcast day, and the build quality of the scope and the included accessories was significantly greater than I'd expected at this price point. Will it replace a $1000+ spotting scope of similar aperture? Of course not, but without comparing the two side by side (and having a good optician's eye!) you probably won't notice the difference other than in your wallet. For my modest uses (birdwatching and target bullet hole spotting out to 300 yards) this scope looks like a winner.Edit: got a chance to use it on a moderate temperate (60 F) day. The optical mirage effects when looking at ground level were sufficient to begin to soften the image appreciably at 200 yards. So for bullet hole spotting, for instance, the scope is no longer capable of seeing smaller (22 or 223) holes at 200 yards unless against high contrast (splatter target) backgrounds. I can only image on a hot day that performance will degrade even further, so I've deducted a star. In my experience higher quality spotting scopes (or even good rifle scope) did not suffer as much optical degradation at moderate temperatures.

A lot of scope for the money
You can't beat the price, and when I set it up, could tell it was a diamond in the rough. Will do anyone well 200 yards or less on the range, can't say past that yet. There are a couple of issues to work through, 1. the eye relief is very short and does not make for a quick spot down the range after each shot, 2. as with any hight powered scope, the slightest movement will require readjustment, which some of this can be over come by monting it on a camera tri-pod and not on the shooting table. It will however save you much exercise walking back and forth to the target with shooting small caliber to check your zero.

Works ok for target practice but not good for long distance

Pick something else.
For the price its definitley not worth it, the cheap Chinese made product where everything feels low quality from the adjustment knobs to the general construction materials feel like something youd expect from a hundred dollar unit. Far better scopes on the market for over half this hefty price tagWouldn't recommend.
