This is my second cage-type helicopter and I hoped for a better product. I bought this for my son who is 6yo but it was used only with my supervision. He had gotten rather good with the first helicopter and could sometimes land it in my hands, but this one seemed nearly uncontrollable. It had to have the joystick fully in the up position to get off and stay off the ground but once in the air it didn't seem to respond to any other controls moving side to side on it's own accord. We used it rather heavily the first day and a half but then the helicopter wouldn't get off the ground anymore, even with a full charge and the joystick all the way up. It would get just high enough to skim over the carpet and smash into things; again not responding to the side to side controls. At this point we pretty much gave up on it and will be looking for another product. The one positive thing I can say is that the helicopter shipped fast from China (if I had realized that was where it was coming from I likely wouldn't have ordered it) and was delivered within roughly 10 days.Pros: fast shipping, fun to fly, protective cageCons: cage is weak and brakes easily, controller feels cheap and clanky, after first day of heavy use we couldn't get the helicopter off the ground anymore.
