At the end of this download is a workbook - I almost wish I had known this was included because I would have worked the lessons as I read each section but I'm almost glad I didn't. Now that I am finished, reading this workbook, going through these thought-filled lessons - helps me go deeper into this great read. If you are a new Christian, or if you are a seasoned one - this is a refreshing view of Who You Are in Christ and How to experience Him more fully.I would put this at the top of my must reads. Well Done Max!

The author really explains well a concept I have had trouble with in the Bible, that of "living water." He explains this clearly in layman's terms.I was amused at this passage on p. 390, having substituted in middle schools and thoroughly enjoyed myself. "The sin-infected grant God the same respect middle-schoolers give a substitute teacher -- acknowledged, but not taken seriously."And on p. 623 he writes "Less caffeine," as if caffeine were bad for us. I thought coffee was healthy.Other than these amusing passages (and some others, more deliberate, I'm sure) this was a deeply reflective and meaningful book.

Mr. Lucado has a great style expressing God at work in our lives everyday. His books never disappoint you and his Devotionals are a MUST READ every time he releases one. He has never once let me down!

After reading this book I mailed it to my daughter in Ca. She read it and asked me if she could pass it onto a friend? So far that has been over a month ago! I am elated that so many people will quench their thirst from this Book. It is a book you can read front to back and want to start from the beginning again! Easy read and very hard to put down. Thank you Max Lacado, you did it again. Reaching into so many dry and thirsty hearts for sure!

I read COME THIRSTY when it was first released. It's thought-provoking and I find it especially informative for those who are in the beginning steps of their faith walk, as I was when I first read it. I've recently recommended it to a friend seeking more, so I loaned her my hard copy and purchased the kindle version so I can read through it again, with my friend.

This book is so thought provoking...I suggest every Christian read it if you're looking to find new ways to nourish your soul

As max always does, he delves into a depth that somehow gives us the words that is needful to the soul. I love his choice of words, illustrations and examples when he is making his point. His words allows me to look deeper within and see the God that lives in me and the power that lies within. Not of my own, but of the Holy Spirit, If only I come Thirsty enough....... incredible read and replenishment for the soul.

Another wonderfully inspiring book from Max Lucado. God is using this man to remind us of His boundless love. What a consolation to know that God loves us no matter who we are or what we've done! No one is beyond His reach. We can all come to the Fountain and drink of the Living Water. When we do, our lives will never be the same. Nothing will be able to separate us from His love.

As always Max Lucado has produced a well written and thoughtful book on faith. I like all of Max’s work and this book has been especially helpful for me.

An absolutely wonderful read. Found myself limiting the amount I read each night to extend my enjoyment of this book. A great encouragement to me. Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a greater understanding of the Bible. Max Lucado never disappoints.
