I had a portable monitor working as a 2nd screen for my desktop setup, but a case change no longer let me use the other stand I had to I went looking for a monitor with a built-in stand. I've had Eyoyo stuff in the past so the fact it had so few reviews didn't scare me, but in Amazon's return policy I trust. :)Most portable monitors that include stands at this size are... disappointing. I don't think I saw any that even had 1080p resolution so, when I saw this one had 1440p, I jumped on it. It's small in size, but I didn't want something that took up much deskspace and it paired well with my main 1440p monitor.The good stuff:The screen quality is actually really good. Not perfect and it leans a little blue/green by default so you'll want to color calibrate it for improved results.This monitor uses full-sized HDMI. I really dislike it when portable monitors rely on mini or micro connectors. It also has VGA (which none of my other monitors have) so it makes it useful if I am testing older hardware.Includes built-in speakers.Draws power from a DC connector, not USB. This makes it better as a always-setup monitor.High resolution. 2160x1440 is probably as high as you could want with a screen this small. The 15:10 aspect ratio makes it nice for websites and documents.Build quality is pretty good and is made of metal.Has the built-in stand and can use a VESA mount.The negatives:The speakers sound ok, but you won't want them long-term.As it arrives, you can't use this as a truly portable monitor since it relies on a DC adapter. For 4:3 content and websites it's basically like having a 13.5" monitor, but for 16:9 content like movies it's like having an 11.5" screen.It has pretty thick bezels which kinda negate the screen size savings.Large hump in the back for the electronics.If you are looking for an extra monitor that you will mostly leave in one location and only move occasionally, this is a great option especially for the price. Good features and a high resolution. But if you change your work venue a lot, I'd go with something that can rely on USB-C for power and video.

Works as advertised!

Only had this monitor (used as a home CCTV monitor. Since this would be used w/ my security cameras, was sold on the 2K, QHD 2160 X 1440 resolution features offered at a great price point. However, wish there was a screen (e.i. 18"-20") -but couldn't resist the features. I am not tech savvy, had my security camera tech came out to assist in pulling video footage (had a package stolen). The tech was impressed with the sharp, brilliance, vivid colors. We were able to read the full thief's license plate as he made a u-turn across the street, which we were unable to make out (even enlarging) with my i-pad and i-phone. If you are looking for a great 12" CCTV monitor and entering or in the stage of needing reading glasses, this gives you a sharp view w/o eye fatigue.

This new Eyoyo 2K HDMI monitor fit my needs perfectly. I recently upgraded my home security DVR and my former DVR connected to an old CRT computer monitor. It looked terrible but did the trick. My new DVR was not compatible with the old monitor and required HDMI connection. I wasn’t prepared to need to spend more money for my security system. I searched on Amazon and so many options were out of my budget, until I found this highly affordable 2160x1440, 2K QHD monitor. When I connected my surveillance system the DVR recognized it instantly saying it could switch to displaying 2K quality. I now need to buy better cameras because the picture is so crisp and my camera quality a little embarrassingly old. The brightness, color saturation, and sharpness is better than I’d anticipated for such compact style monitor. It has great resolution, and I’m happy I chose the 12” display. The screen looks great at any viewing angle. It came with a metal rack for a more mobile situation. I made use of the included crescent base because it takes up minimal space on my computer desk. I appreciate how undistracting its design is since I only want to look to my camera set-up when I’m concerned with something outside my house. With that said, it is very discrete, and I didn’t have to make a single adjustment out of the box. For convenience and quality in a compact design this was the right choice.

Don't leave many reviews... but I am leaving one for this monitor.Got it for less than $130 on Prime Day and had a previous EYOYO 768x1366 monitor for probably three years. Love the 2K resolution... WAY better! Colors are incredible too!Much better construction (more metal) than my previous rendition which was all plastic, and a bonus... I no longer have to turn this monitor off when I shut my computer down... WIN!!!I am just using as an Aida64 panel but screen backgrounds look great as well ;)

If you're looking for something to have as a second screen for multitasking, this is a good choice. The only thing I really don't like about it is that it definitely does not seem as though it's 60hz

I have one of these next to my big monitor for monitoring OBS and another mounted to my Smart Bike for playing YouTube or Switch games on it. I've also taken it traveling to be a portable screen for my Switch. Works great and amazing value for the price!The little angled stand that comes with it is super-useful. I didn't realize initially you can tighten it down as well so it doesn't slip.

This is a very nice little monitor. I love the QHD resolution and aspect ratio. Nice and bright, good colors, etc.The only problem was that mine came with what looks like a yellow stain in one corner and along two edges. I tested using two different computers and it's there with both.I looked it up, searching "Yellow stain along edge of LCD screen", and discovered that this is a reasonably common problem, stemming from imprecise manufacturing. It even has a name; the "Mura Effect".UPDATE*******I reached out to the company via Amazon and was immediately contacted by one of Eyoyo's reps with an offer to replace the monitor at their cost. I must say, I am VERY impressed with this level of customer service, to say the least! It is uncommon on Amazon and should be noted.When I receive the replacement, I'll post an update. If the problem is solved, (as I expect it will be given the current level of responsiveness), I will be giving a 5/5 star rating to this product.******UPDATEI received the new monitor. -It has the same yellowing-around-the-edges issue, but on the replacement, it is less noticeable. If you didn't know it was there, I suspect most people would not notice.In this case, the replacement unit tips over the mark for me into "Good Enough" territory. It is otherwise well-built, a configuration offered by nobody else, with sharp graphics and good color (on 97% of the screen) and decent controls. However, the thing I am most impressed by is Eyoyo's customer service. Top tier! There are a LOT of companies which could learn a lesson from them, and even if their products are not 100% perfect, (and who is to say they aren't?), I would prefer to work with them simply because of their customer service.I would absolutely buy Eyoyo products in the future!

Good value for the price

I wanted a small monitor to fit in a home cockpit setup to display various flight instruments. This ticked all the boxes for size, quality and the connection types and their location once the monitor was "installed" in the panel. I would highly recommend.
