Its nicly made for its price point. Only issue is the flat that holds it in a locked position is not enough. The light just pops out.

It was good the first couple of times I took it off and put it back on the rail. Then the threading on the inside of the receiving end stripped a little and now it won't go on. The quick release is a joke, it doesn't lock down into place and protrudes crudely. It protrudes so for off the rifle that I couldn't keep it attached when putting it in its range bag.

Returning it...I really liked it and it worked great with my sure fire...however, I took it off to place a thumb grip on the rail and when I went to put it back on the screw stripped. Obviously I didn't have it lined up just perfect but because it's number 3 fine thread screw (which I looked for everywhere and could not find) and has a lot of play in the rail it easily stripped the aluminum. So good product..but if you are off in angle even by the slightest....it will become useless..if they had made it to take a number 4 or number 5 screw I would give it 5 stars...but because I could not replace the screw it makes it no good. But it was only 10 bucks!

For a cheap and simple flashlight mount, it's great. There's not much to go wrong with this except the fact that the tensioner doesn't stay in place so I ended up just tightening it all the way down in the open position. Would recommend it though, the pros outweigh the cons

The clamping system does not hold very well. Good enough for a smaller caliber gun, like a .22 maybe, but it doesn't take much of a recoil/jar for it to come loose.

Good mount and good customer support nothing special but does the job

There's no flat spot to cinch it tight for a break-over. You'll need to shave down a flat spot so it breaks over and locks in place. Still not a bad deal for the price, though
