Putco529005 Blade Quick Connect Harness For 2019+ Silverado/Sierra 1500

I used this harness to install a tailgate lightbar on my 2021 GMCC Sierra 1500 Denali. Even though the lightbar I installed was not a Putco brand lightbar, this harness worked great and made my installation so much easier. No matter what brand of lightbar or other accessory you need that plugs in to a 4-pin connector, this harness will work. The harness also comes with a reverse light wire that has a special pigtail connector. The lightbar I installed did not have the special connector, but I just spliced in to the harness reverse light wire and connected the lightbar reverse light wire together and it works just fine. The reason I like this harness is because if I ever want to remove the lightbar and harness, none of the stock truck wiring has been altered.

The product is well built and looks like OEM parts, and I highly recommend purchasing the item if you are installing a light bar on your tailgate. It look 10 min to install.

This product worked great for my 2500 Duramax HD diesel 6.6 L brake light bar. It’s a beautiful thing.

Tried various other adapters for the 7-wire trailer harness. Seems the newer GMC's with the trailer control module and tow package won't even recognize an LED light bar, not enough draw. By pig-tailing off the tail lights directly, and bypassing the trailer wiring altogether, my light bar works great! No delay. No trailer warning. all BSD and LA features still working. This even splices out a direct connection for the reverse light as well! I used this and installed my Putco RED Blade in about 30 minutes. Seamless and absolute plug-n-play. Thanks, Putco!

I am not a big review writer, but I just had to leave one for this product. This was the well worth the cost. If you are adding a tailgate light to your vehicle defiantly purchase this item!! It will make installation a breeze!You just plug it in to your existing wiring and plug your tailgate light into it. Installation complete!!! No wire splicing. No wire tracing. simple and easy to install.

This adapter makes installation SO much less of a headache. No wires to cut. No drops in voltage. No error messages. I’m a fan!

Once I got the light plug for the truck unplugged. The wiring was easy. It would be nice to include the reverse wiring into the plug. It was an easy process of wiring but that was just one more wire to tuck out of site.**note** When you start the wiring. Think about where you will be strapping the excess. I didn’t and had to redo it. Because I didn’t take the exhaust pipe into consideration.

Easy to install with Putco back light bar

Ordered this cause i didn’t feel confortable in taping into the trailer harness.. works really well and save me some time.. except 1 connector was really hard to get in.

Harness was as expected. Makes things alot easier to install then splicing into taillights. Awesome job Putco!!
