Orange Pi PC (Quad Core 1.6GHz, GPU, 1GB DDR3, Android, Linux, Raspbian)

If you want a board and aome pretty lights, get something cheaper. This unit was DOA, but it ia DOA by design in fact. after finally finding a power supply with no documentation. I plugged in the device, no signal, odd. so i went an rechecked everything. i decidw maybe it needs the sd to do anything at all, so i bwgin the process of making an sd card with their tf writer. which is closed source btw. i download a few images, and thw phoenixcard program. No dice, phoenixcard does absolutely nothing at all. hit the forums, now this is clearly looking like a scam, since nobody has actually ever booted one of these... the RJ45 jack lights continuously and that is all, with or without an sdcard of any kind. no video output via hdmi or any other lights, it is the same size plug as a psp, and a 5v 2amp psp power supply still yields nothing at all. when the official psu arrives from ali i will update the review if it works; but i find this highly unlikely. just too much fishy smell with this one.This is also the $15 orange pi PC variant, not the variant at this price point. Will be returning it if possible, never to do business again.

HDMI output is unreliable. One of two units would not boot. Online community is rather underdeveloped. The only reliable way to get a console on a unit is to use a serial connection. Would not recommend OrangePi PC, would direct you to Odroid or RasberryPi products as they are more reliable.

no power supply included

Arrived either damaged or bad manufacturing. Finally got home to inspect it from a long trip. But arrive d quickly.

Looks great on paper, did not work. returned. Bought a CubieBoard 5 which works good. Returned this item.

Haven't got it to boot yet!

I did not buy one from here but I got one from somewhere else. It works well with openelec, I tried andriod as well. It works too. I guess one need to configure it well for it to work.
