013 Salas Baccarat, Eau de Parfum by Rosa Salas

This perfume gets such a crazy response from people. Its easy to see why Baccarat Rouge 540, the inspiration behind it, has the fan base it has.But Baccarat Rouge retails at £215 eau de parfum and the extrait version is £320. This Rosa Salas version is definitely more economical. if you are like me, I need to spritz several times throughout the day, everyday, then this will save you £££s.The fragrance reminds me of a beautiful warm day in a luxurious resort. It envelopes you with a veil of sweetness which is delicate and grown up at the same time. What makes this frag intriguing is how well every note is mixed together. Sometimes it gives off hints of the softest cashmere jumper and other times almond marzipan, even cool silk with yummy burnt sugar. I can't explain it well but you get an uplifting vibe that is refined. I get compliments wearing this so it must be working with my body's chemistry. Some people said it reminded them of summer in Paris and lots of happy emotions!On the Rosa Salas official website, you can get the 50ml extrait of this parfum which I believe will be stronger and even longer lasting.Rating:10/10 Value for money. This smells like a much more expensive niche perfume. That's the whole point of Rosa Salas -you get something you enjoy at the fraction of the price. Not a cheap dupe at all, it is well crafted with a mixture of organic and good quality ingredients.10/10 Delivery through Amazon. Prompt and securely wrapped. Nothing leaked and the vendor even sent me a sample of another perfume.7/10 Presentation. Could be more luxurious but can't complain because of the price. You get a generic looking bottle and box. Don't expect the crystal bottle from Maison Francis Kurkdjian and you shouldn't have an issue.11/10 Smell. This is a wow fragrance. Especially if you liked the original which inspired this one.

I bought this perfume as I heard it was a dupe of Baccarat Rouge. I am not sure how it smells like but one thing I know is this perfume smells divine. Ever since I've worn this perfume, I've received a whole lot of compliments and that I smell delicious. I now even have a reputation on my smell, leaving me with so much confidence its wonderful. One thing I have realized though the first spray is really strong and I only needed to spray once to last me the whole day but now I have used quite a bit I have to spray 2-3 sprays to last me the whole day. However it is strong . I've been told I leave a trace every time I walk in a room. I was even told that I left my scent on one of my friends clothing from when I touched her. This is like my little gem that has now become my signature scent, as its unique on its own but I do layer this with other perfumes. I would really recommend this perfume to anyone as its just amazing. If you want to turn heads but in a subtle way this perfume is the one!

For the first 5 or so sprays you cannot tell the difference. But then it changes and looses some of the unique scents of the original. Still like it though people say it's very strong.

Just like the real thing, minus what I don't like about the authentic scent. When you first spray the Amazon knock-off, it's really harsh and overly sweet but the dry down is really nice. Lasting power & projection are similar to the real thing not too bad for £13. The authentic 540 scent has this weird hospital smell/cleaning products mixed with latex rubber gloves when the sweet burned cotten candy smell mixes with that in the real scent, I can't help but gag. This knock off version doesn't seem to have any of that, it has all the things I actually like about 540 but with at the cost of having a VERY strong alcohol/sickly sweet opening. My partner seems to prefer the real thing to this he says the knock off sticks in his throat. all well

Perfume is good for the first couple of uses but then scent isn’t strong after a while and doesn’t last

Was so looking forward to receiving this after all the good reviews but oh my what a disappointment. It has a strong chemical smell, like a public toilet. Very strong and not my taste at all, so unfortunately will be returning

I really didn’t think would be as gorgeous as it has turned out to be. Nicely packaged . The scent truly is long lasting and I have received many compliments. Including in a wet blustery dog walk when a lady told me I smelt lovely. I genuinely recommend this fragrance. I’ve already ordered my next bottle so I don’t run out.

I first tried this perfume over a year ago and couldn't be without it now. I always get so many compliments and queries about what it is :) it lasts so long and lingers beautifully!Not only do I love the perfume (I have the large and the small for my handbag) but the sellers are great - super quick and always send samples and thank you notes. Loving their new Vanilla Cloud fragrance too ♡Can't ever imagine changing now!!
