Works great for the smoker or grill if you don't feel like standing outside, or you're busy cooking/preparing other stuff elsewhere. Some of the probes show different temps relative to each other... but they are only off by +/-2deg. A+, would buy again.

So far, when grilling chicken or pork, this has helped me cook them as desired....no overcooked briquets of pork/chicken. When cooking burgers, I find it hard to insert the probes because of the thinness and texture of the ground beef. Cooked strip steaks last night, medium rare, and they came out perfectly...bright pinkish red and very juicy. The color coded probes are nice, I don't have to unwind everything to determine which probe is associated with which readout as with some other devices I've used...a great time and frustration saver. The remote is nice as well. The grilling can be monitored remotely while doing other food prep, or even better, relaxing with a cold beer.

This product works, but has too many parts. Great if cooking several meats I guess.

I smoke large pieces of meat which can take 12 - 14 hours. This multi probe thermometer is perfect I can check on the temperature of the meat as well as the smoker without having to constantly be on site.

Use this thermometer set to smoke chicken, pork, beef, you name it. I love that it has multiple prongs so I can add it to different meats or different sections of the meat I am cooking. The portable thermometer is really easy to carry around or put up for my family to help me keep track of the temperature inside my smoker. Would definitely recommend!

This is the 4th remote grill thermometer I have used and so far it is the best. I like the color coded probs but have found the ones (at least what I had) that have the plastic color indicators on the prob itself overheat and lead to failure. These probs are color coded only at the transmitter. The accuracy and consistency have been really good when I did comparison tests. I don’t know if the remote will read at 500 ft but it’s no problem from my driveway to inside my house upstairs or down, which is what I care about. Like most devices of this type, the settings are not intuitive for most features so don’t lose the instruction manual. I don’t know what it’s lifetime will turn out to be but all indications are good after the first 5 or 6 uses.

Perfect for keeping an eye on the turkey without opening the roaster every 30 minutes!

Used this device one time then the next time I went to use it it would not turn on. Tried new batteries and still would not turn on.Update:The seller took care of this issue. Very happy and would recommend this seller!!

Used several different types over the years. This is easy to use and to read. Like the fact that I can take the receiver inside the house to work on other projects. Only thing I needed to do was to download the user manual as mine did not come with it. Easy to obtain.

Totally recommend this for perfectly cooked steak, chicken, pork or burgers….all at the same time.

After using for 5 or 6 times I realize the internal temperature of the meat is not completely accurate. Out by 10+ degrees.

Works as promised. Meat was cooked to perfection. Just remember to use a glove to remove the probes as they are "hot".
