Man... this knife is an excellent tool for the money.
I love this knife. The materials are of high quality, and the overall fit and finish is outstanding. It's the perfect EDC knife. Light weight, comfortable, and at a little less than three inches, is legal is some of our more restrictive states. I could go on and on about it but you have to experience it to know. I highly recommend this knife for knife lovers everywhere.Pros-It's inexpensive enough to carry every day and not fret losing it, and high enough quality to use everyday without worry. Also, the action is flawless...and I mean really, why carry a $200.00 unit and be worried all the time that you'll misplace it or get it stolen when you can carry THIS knife and not lose quality or function for a much cheaper price.Cons-Buy it...you won't regret it.Hope this helps.

Great Knife for the Price
Although it's made in China, something that I'm not excited about, I have to say the build is on par with several American made knives I own that I paid double or triple the price for. The tolerances are tight, and it seems to be very well made.It came hair-shaving sharp right out of the box, and after some use, I found it quick and easy to touch up. The flipper works easily, making deploying the blade super quick and easy, much like my American made Kershaw Leek. The micarta canvas scales add some class and are grippy enough and comfortable. The pocket clip is positioned so it offers good, deep pocket carry, and it can be removed if you want to drop it in your pocket. It's light weight, but feels substantial enough in hand to handle some stout cutting.Even though I own several similar high-quality American made knives (I have a problem when it comes to knives, flashlights, and other EDC items!), I find myself reaching for this one in the morning often. Because of the price point, I'm less hesitant to really use (and even abuse) this knife, which is the whole point of carrying a blade daily.Overall, it's a great knife and an incredible value.

Excellent Everyday Carry (EDC)
Great knife for a great price. Decent build and steel. I put this knife in my rotation to carry. This isn't a Benchmade or Spyderco so know that going in. I would not let that stop me from giving these knives a try.

Eventually, a great knife!
Let me start off by saying this is my 2nd Elementum. The first one I ordered was a dud, and like other reviews here the action was not smooth, was very hard to flip, and made a grinding noise when opening/closing. I did my best to break it in but ended up returning it. There was so many things that I actually did like about the knife I decided to order another one with the hopes of not getting another dud, and I’m sooooo glad I did. The 2nd one I ordered was a beautiful example of what this knife is supposed to be. It came out of the box with a super silky smooth action, perfectly centered, and razor sharp. This knife has an almost perfect design (would be nice to see a reversible pocket clip), feels good in the hand, and the micarta scales are an elegant touch. Note: my model has the green scales, but are actually more of a green/grey-ish color, but still looks good. I like that the blade is clean and free from any “billboarding”, and only has a very light D2 laser etched onto the flipper. You really wouldn’t notice it unless you were looking. This knife has been in my hand or pocket since I got it as I just can’t seem to put it down. It’s going to the top of my EDC rotation, and I’m really looking forward to see how it holds up to long term use. It was hard not to give this knife 5 stars as I absolutely love it, but ended up giving a 4 star rating ONLY due to the hit and miss on the quality of the version(s) I received.

Excellent! Better than the photos!
I've heard so many good things about these knives and finally got one. The look and feel is so much better than in the pictures. This thing is beautiful and well-made.I love the micarda. It has a great smooth cloth texture. The gimping on top of the blade provides excellent grip. In the past, I've had knives where it's mostly for looks and isn't that trippy. It came super sharp right out of the box.The action is great on opening and close, and it fits great in my hand. Even the clip is placed to fit in the hand well without causing any uncomfortable spots.I highly recommend this knife to anyone. It's also nice that it comes in a nice carrying case with a couple stickers and a cleaning cloth.

So much better than expected!
I had no idea how good this little knife would be. No wonder it always seems to sell out. The action is fantastically smooth. The blade shape is perfect. Fit & finish are perfect. The micarta scales are nicely done. The scales have a fabric feel, but they're not overly fuzzy like cheap micarta usually found on budget knives. The size is a little too small. Can't knock that because you know that going into it. But, I do wish Civivi would make this knife in a size L, with a 3.5" blade. Also, the lanyard hole detracts from the appearance. I wish more manufacturers would go with the lanyard hole hidden in a swivel barrel spacer (see the CJRB Centros for example). Otherwise, this is a great knife to own, and also a great knife to gift to someone you're trying to convert into a knife nut.

Great knife
Great pocket knife. Solid materials, light weight in the pocket. A little bit bigger and a little bit heaver than my SOG twitch. Very classy look (best way I could describe it). Grip feels good. The action of the knife feels nice and smooth. This have become my new every where carry. About the only thing I don't like is the lack of a serrated edge option.
