I didn’t realize it was collapsible. I wasn’t paying close enough attention, I guess. Anyway, I got it so I can put my feet up and extra storage is never a bad idea. When it arrived in the tiny box it came in I figured ok, I have to assemble it. Then I opened it and saw it’s made just like those fabric storage boxes. I was bummed; no way this thing is going to hold my (fairly heavy) legs. As it turns out, it does, no problem at all. Once you assemble it, it’s as solid as a little table. I wouldn’t sit on it, but I bet an average-sized person probably could. I was pretty surprised it’s so sturdy. For the money I have no complaints. As a bonus, it fits so well under my IKEA LACK side table it’s like it was designed to be stored there.UPDATE: I sat on it. I wasn’t even thinking about what I was doing, just sat in the nearest available object. Not a smart thing to do when you weigh over 300lb, but I was super focused on something else. 20 minutes later I realized I was in fact sitting on my new ottoman, and it was holding up my weight with no complaints whatsoever. I inspected it and there don’t seem to be any signs of stress anywhere. I’m even more impressed now. If you were thinking about getting one, hopefully that helps you make your decision.

This is a temporary living arrangement so I didn't want to invest a lot in furniture. I figured I'd have to pay about $25 each for two footstools that were better than the packing boxes I was using. To find these for $18 was a steal. I bought them based on the price, appearance, and good reviews and they were as promised. Took about a minute to pop them from the clever flat fold into stools that are strong enough to sit on. I highly recommend.

I bought this as a work out bench.Yes, that might seem insane, but this gives you an idea of how strong this is. Even knowing it was intended as folding and light furniture, I could always shore it up later by building a stronger internal frame in like 30min. But it does not appear to be needed.I wanted something small (have this near the base of my King bed. My room is small, made smaller since it is filled mostly with a king bed of course. I hate the big clunky work out benches. In fact, they tend to feel wobbly, while this little ottoman is sturdier funny enough.I'm 188cm/104kg (6'2" 230lb)I throw a towel or sometimes a king pillow on this, and work out with two 16kg (35lb) dumbbell weights.So we are talking about a total of 136kg (300lb!)I'm sure if I twisted a lot, or forced it, the sides would fail. But if used with respect, this is great.

I got this to use as small storage by the entryway. I'm about 155lbs and able to sit on the ottoman to out on my shoes without any issues. My husband is 260lbs and can do the same. We race to the entryway to get to sit on the ottoman every time we're leaving. Would recommend getting more than 1. Lol.

For the longest time we just used a storage bin as a toy box for my son. I figured it was time to get him a nice toybox and purchase this. It’s absolutely beautiful and holds all of his toys comfortably besides the very large toys(imaginex tower, giant fire truck, ect) which is not a big deal. It holds up very well and my son enjoys using it as a seat. There is a separator in the middle of it which doesn’t hold super well but that’s OK because like I said it’s being used for a toybox. What kind of five-year-old is going to sit there and sort their toys so we just removed it since it’s held there with Velcro. Overall this is a very solid product and I hope to purchase another one soon for my living room!

Precious storage is always needed in small apartments and this box will help with that. I’m very happy with this product. Whatever it’s made of, it’s very comfortable. It doesn’t feel cheap, which was a concern of mine. The stitching is a nice look and applied well. It took all of a hot minute to “put it together” yet it feels quite sturdy. Well worth the price.

Using it as an extra seat and luggage seat in the spare bedroom. Storage is perfect for extra blankets and pillows and good height for anyone to toss their luggage onto it to sift through during their stay without having to toss back and forth between the floor and bed. It puts together suuuuper easily and the memory foam cushion is comfortable to sit on. Make sure you're comfortable with the dimensions though because the photo could give the impression it's bigger than it is. Again, for me though, it fits perfectly into the wall space between my spare bedroom door and the bedroom closet door so even though it was a bit smaller than I expected, it turned out to be just the right size for the room.

loved it so much bought another. when you get it you think it's 'cheap' which $ wise it is but once you unfold it, put the top on looks just like the $100+ ones. top is padded just enough. light enough to scooch anywhere you want - I bought it for my 87 yr old mother and it's perfect for her but then bought one for myself. greatest thing it has more options, you can store IN it or you can fold it up back in the lid and store IT in 3" of space for when you need an extra seat in your living room - we've all been there!

It really can hold quite a lot of weight. I'm pretty heavy and I can sit on it and it doesn't feel like it's going to give at all. However, I wish it were more comfortable as an actual ottoman. The edges are a bit sharp, and the height is a little bit taller than would be optimal for my use case. That was my fault though for not properly measuring a comfortable height to put up my feet before buying one.Perhaps there's some sort of top that can be added to this to make it more comfortable. That would raise the height of it a bit more though.

I was looking around for an ottoman for a bit now. My cat loves to sit beside me when I'm on the couch, or even at the kitchen table, but can't when I'm surfing the net. The fact that I can store a bunch of stuff within it is a bonus. I've sat on it at times when I was redoing the wiring behind my computer desk so it is strong enough for me to sit there, so it will also be strong enough for a foot rest.Definitely recommend.

Not cheap for just a folding box but looks very nice. It's sturdy, comfy to sit on and look much more elegant in our room than previous toy-box, perfectly fits the rest of our furniture. Now, children after playing they put toys into this ottoman and room transforming back from playground into living room.

The ottoman is really good quality, easy to set up and good storage size. It is a darker brown than my leather sofa and I really wanted it as a footrest when watching TV. I do find it is a bit awkward to move for my foot rest. I doesn't slide easily and being square - it is difficult to pick and move. I am still looking for an ottoman, I will keep this one as I am sure it will be useful in another room in my house.

The first product I received the thread from the top was already starting to come loose. You know how that goes, when one single thread comes loose it takes only one pull for the entire thing to come undone. My replacement was in good condition however in 2 weeks, again the thread was becoming loose and the lid started to have a crack on the leather. I already discarded the box and have no idea how to ship it back or where to find a box. I'm already pissed off so I will end up keeping a crap product. Not happy.
