Beautiful color and good basic laptop for WFH
I got this for a work-from-home laptop. Was looking for something small and very light weight for when I sometimes travel. It was definitely smaller than i had expected. I added some photos with the Asus laptop next to my 13.3 in Macbook air and 11 in iPad Pro. I expected it to be the same size as my Macbook but was surprised when it turned out to be smaller in length and width.I’m an accountant so I use mainly Microsoft teams app, One Drive, some basic internet browsing/emailing, Excel/Word/PPT, occasional virtual meetings, and some accounting software. Haven’t experienced any major problems though i’ve only had this laptop for a little over a week. The battery life is okay — not the best. I could probably work a full 8 hour shift and at the end of the day, it’ll be at about 30% ish battery. I keep it plugged in mostly so I don’t really have any complaints with its battery life. There were about 2-3 instances when i had a lot of apps open and when trying to open a file, the computer glitched (the screen turned black) for a millisecond..I also use this laptop to play LOL and haven’t experienced any issues at all! I just love how beautiful the color is and how lightweight it is. I don’t use the number keypad too often as i find it not as comfortable though it is a nice additional feature! One thing i dont like is that there is only one USB port. Which means i can either charge my phone with my laptop or connect my wireless mouse with the USB port - but can’t do both. :( also there is no headphone jack but it did come with a USB C adapter for headphones.Lastly— i looked on the Asus website and i believe this laptop was supposed to come with a sleeve but mine did not. It came with a charger (USB C Charger) and a USB C to headphone jack adapter.

Great, lightweight laptop
I was looking for a lightweight laptop I could bring along with me to work. I also use it for social media and emails. I don't game. It's the perfect size to fit in my backpack and leather tote. The keyboard lights up and automatically turns off after a few mins of no use. The thumbpad can be used for the number pad or you can turn that off as well. If you're looking for a good, reliable, simple, lightweight, small, carry anywhere type of laptop - this one is def it. And I searched for weeks for just the right one. This is the one I purchased and highly recommend. Everything I need. Sound is good and video is good as well. Reliable. This is the exact one I purchased: (In lilac and everything - the lilac is subtle - I'm completely satisfied)ASUS ZenBook 13 Ultra-Slim Laptop 13.3” Full HD NanoEdge Bezel Display, Intel Core i5-1035G1 Processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB PCIe SSD, NumberPad, Windows 10 Home, Lilac Mist

Very good laptop
The laptop is great, light, small and relatively fast, the only problem is the memory, 8GB is not enough when you multitask many apps.

Fast, Pretty and Light
This sleek and light laptop exceeded my expectations in terms of Its performance. It is so fast and there are no lags or no freezing. I don't play games but I use a very sluggish translation software and I can open 10-20 tabs in google and office programs at the same time with no problem (I was not able to use my translation software together with google in my old and sturdy asus i3 and this is such an upgrade for me). It opens in a second. So far I am really happy with the purchase and definitely recommend to someone who is looking for a sleek, sturdy, well priced work horse with good performance!

Amazed by the impact resistance
I usually don't write reviews unless it really impresses me. I have been using this laptop for almost 6 months and never felt the need to write a review. Although I liked it, I have been using it routinely just like any other laptop not observing keenly what is good and bad. But today one thing compelled me to write a review. I was honestly spellbound!! The laptop literally dropped from my bed onto a hard marble flooring and it took the impact gracefully. No damage at all, functioning 100%, not even a single scratch! I was scared to death when it dropped but after checking for 5 minutes whether everything was okay, I took a deep breath. Now, I started respecting my laptop more and felt the need to share my experience! I dont think any other laptop would have survived that kind of an impact, even a phone for that matter. Asus - Good going!

Laptop is dysfunctional, customer support is incompetent
I wish I had read all the one-star reviews for Asus on the Better Business Bureau site before I bought this laptop.I got this recently after reading some good reviews on Amazon (again, I wish I'd paid attention to all the negative ones). The internal speakers randomly stopped working after only 6 weeks. Long story short: no amount of troubleshooting fixed it, I mailed my new Asus laptop to the repair center over three weeks ago, and there appears to be no end in sight to the repair. At this point, the only phone number available to call gives either an error message or a busy signal, so there is literally no way to talk to anyone. The Asus repair center has had my laptop since July. I rely on my laptop to work, and I currently cannot work because I have no laptop.Again, this was a BRAND NEW laptop that malfunctioned for no reason. Asus sold me a dysfunctional machine, the repair process is obviously not working, and customer service support is now nonexistent. I want Asus to either send me a new computer, or I want my money back. This is my first experience as an Asus customer, and I am never, ever supporting this company again. Because my computer is being held hostage at the repair center and I NEED something to work on so that I can pay my bills, at this point it feels like Asus is forcing me to plunk down hundreds more dollars on a different company to buy a new computer. I have no trust whatsoever that this situation is going to be resolved. Do not waste your money on this lousy machine.

Great light weight powerful machine
If you need a small powerful laptop this is for you, at a less expensive price than you would find for identical performance, you are getting a deal. Face unlock works good, although watch big lighting differences. The processor will hold its own for a good future, battery lasts a very respectable long hours, display is vibrant and the silver body is cool to put stickers on if you like.

Lightweight
A great ultrabook at a good price. We bought it as part of an Amazon Warehouse deal - it looked (and still convinced it is) brand new!No touch screen but the portability and makes up for it. Good screen quality.

Asus Zenbook
I love this laptop for value, speed, size, sleekness, colour and value. It fits the bill perfectly for my needs. Amazon.com.au were awesome to deal with.

Lightweight and powerful
There are only 3 things that I don't like about this lightweight ASUS beauty. 1) It didn't tell me that it is really Windows 10 S mode, not just Windows, so I can't download any programs that aren't from the Microsoft Store and I can't use remote desktop to connect to my Mainframe upstairs. 2) The keyboard was set to Spanish and it took me some time to figure out how to change it to English so that the question mark, quotation marks and apostrophe worked. 3) It has an Intel Core instead of the superior AMD processor, but I can live with it. It has 8 GB Ram and 256 GB SSD so that's great for my home use purposes. The most important thing to me (besides it being beautiful lilac mist colour) is that it is only 2.5 lbs. I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis, both in my hands and my knees, so it was imperative that a laptop nothurt either of those, lifting it up or letting it rest on my knees. Overall I'm pretty happy considering the price.

Disappointed
this product is quite expensive and in within less than 60 days it has broken and the screen is not working. Just my luck the return policy expired 5 days ago....let's hope Asus and Amazon can rectify this issue
