A very nice fresh, green and herbaceous smell with a hint of peppery spice, softer and more gentle than ginger. This oil is cooling, even though it is from the same family as ginger. It is superb for muscular aches and pains (striated muscle), menstrual cramps and IBS (smooth muscle). It also eases nausea, flatulence and cramps. A strong antifungal as well as an antispetic and anti-inflammatory. It is a good choice for acne prone skin products. A good anti oxidative effect makes it useful for rejuvenating creams and serums and all other anti ageing products. Very effective to use on bruises and skin burns. Gentle enough that it can be used neat on non sensitised skin, it is better when diluted and blended with other oils.
