Great place to dumb whimsical thoughts and dreams

This is a beautiful book, and a great value at the $13.50 price point (June 2021).--It's well constructed, with stitched-in (not glued) pages. Paper is thick & looks like it will last without tearing. I chose the "moon" cover and the deer glows nicely, as promised.--There are 64 unique illustrated pages (no text or lines) & the set is repeated four times, for a total of 256 pages. The majority of the pages are light-colored and would be perfect for journaling. A very few of the illustrations ARE dark and would require a white ink pen, but those pages could also just be left as-is and enjoyed for their beauty.--I really like this book a LOT! The only thing I would change is to remove the words/text from the covers & spine. I'd rather choose my own words. :-)

What a divinely wonderful product, While it does repeat the pattern in the book the number of unique prints is wonderful. Some pages are good to write with a dark pen, some need to have white gel to pop up on the dark print. It is quiet and tells a beautiful story when just flipped through. I can not tell you how much I enjoyed this. I bought 3 additional ones as gifts for my close friends. Absolutely wonderul. Buy a white gel pen to go with this journal :) You will not regret it.

Couldn't wait for it's arrival; better than I expected. Right now, before entering any writing, I'm simply enjoying going thru each page, admiring the artwork and cohesive, theme, but not get a forced feeling; instead, it flows ~ front cover, continuing with a serenity on each and every page, all the way to the back cover. I like it so much, I've already ordered another as a gift for my daughter! It's so pretty all by itself, I almost don't want to mark it up with any writing - but instead, I will say, it brings about my positive feelings, and I'd be hard-pressed to have or express many, or any, negative feelings

I love the design and pages of this journal. I kept one and gave another to a friend of mine. But seriously...advertising them as a "girl's" journal?! Get with the times...journals are not gendered. I'm a guy and gave the other one as a gift to my guy friend!Pluses:-It's just a gorgeous, playful journal that anyone with an artistic eye would appreciate.-I like the book has a thin ribbon as a place holder.-Bound well and sturdy and durable-Binding/cover is seamless design-The nature/stag theme is carried throughout the pages-pages are medium thickness=durable, yet easy to write on with both ball point/ink pensMinuses: (see photos)-I wish that all the pages were able to be written on with a colored pen or pencil. I'd say every 3rd or 4th double page is dark. For those dark pages I use the White "glaze" pen by sakura, which shows up once dry.-I wish this journal laid "flat".-Also I prefer a journal that's a bit larger. With it not laying flat, that decreases available writing space. I tried to get a sense of this aspect, but it was not in the description, so that was a chance I took.-I cannot get the cover to show up in the dark-I tried. But this isn't a big deal, it just shouldn't be advertised as such.-I wish the binding was blank, mine says: "Midsummer Night's dream" in silver letters. It also says that on the cover as well as: "I wish in this beautiful dream/ Until the old". On the back it says, "Looking forward meet." What does that even mean?Primarily I wanted this because it is beautiful (and it is!). I'm on the fence if I'd purchase again-if there were a larger size, I definitely would! And the price ($11 on sale) can't be beat. All in all, I recommend this product for ALL genders!

I bought this for a gift for a coworker. I had my other coworkers sign it and add inspirational messages randomly in this book and I filled out the rest of it with loving messages and he LOVED it!! He said everything about it was so aestheticly appealing and he cried reading it. Would 100% recommend this for anyone!!!

Absolutely gorgeous journal. I was going to use it for normal every day writing but when I opened it up I was so inspired by the beautiful artwork I’ve decided to make it a creative piece instead. Really looks like a Patronus grimore or something!It would make a good gift, but only if your recipient doesn’t mind a little chuckle at the strange/random/grammatically incorrect sayings in foil leaf on the front and back covers. They’re so small it doesn’t bother me one bit.Pages are thick, artwork only repeats 3 or 4 times in the entire book.

So it's not huge but it's so beautiful I have purchased it as a gift as well as for myself. I have bought different ones and each one is truly a work of art. I promise you will love it! Like all glow in the dark things you need a blacklight but you really don't need one to enjoy it's beauty.
