Wire Cube Plastic Connector 50Pcs Wire Grid Cube Organizer Connector for Modular Closet Storage Organizer and Wire Shelving (White)

Putting together wire rack shelving was problematic as it was hard to find the correct sized slotted connectors. After a lot of reading found this one and works for 4cm wire racks. What you are not told is that the wire frame is larger than 4 cm. Thus, after reading through many connector information specs, I found this one and it works. The slot size is listed as 5 cm. The wire frame measures out to 4.75 cms so a 4 cm connector does not fit. Great Granddaughter can now put together her shelving with confidence it will stay connected and fall apart.

Did I get these to work with my wire squares, yes. Granted it's been a decade or more since I bought my cubes and the reason I bought these is because many of my old plastic connectors had aged, broken or would easily break when pressure was applied. One thing I noticed when I bought these is the plastic slots sticking up were at an angle and not square like mine I figured that shouldn't matter but yes it does. It took me four times as long to put the shelves together than it normally does because as soon as I would finally slide the connector on and then attempt to get the next attached the previous side would slip out. The only way I could stop this from happening was to use either zip ties to help in the stabilization or the Velcro ties. I primarily used the small clear zip ties with these connectors that way when move the cubes they don't slip the connectors or when they did the whole unit didn't come crashing down while I reconnected them. I'm not sure if this would be easier with two people putting them together, but for me the zip ties were more constant pressure to minimize the wire shift.It does take some work sliding them all the way on to where they actually fit in the locking groove. It seemed it took more effort to get them into the groove than for them to pop out. But I did appreciate the grooves.I chose to keep these rather than send them back because when I searched for replacement connectors all I found were the same type of angled plastic replacements. I knew no matter who I bought them from I would encounter the same issues.

We've had these wire crates for about 20 years. They are thicker, more sturdy than what they sell today. These connectors are too small, wire does not fit in them. But hey, I'm a genius... figured out a way to make them work. Drill out the slot for the thicker wire. 4 drill spots down from the top... 4 in from the side... that's 8 drill spots per piece... 50 pcs. SEE PICS of before and after drilling. Now the thicker wire can "snap" into place and is VERY sturdy. Still cannot use the outer ring of the connectors, but 50 pcs for this price wasn't too bad... even though it took a while to alter them. Some connectors online have thinner walls... this trick will not work for those. Overall I was disappointed that they didn't work as is... but because I could alter them and make them work I am satisfied. I am happy with these for the price I paid, for 50 pcs. (Plenty of spares in case they break)NOTE: I broke zero drilling them out.TIP: a pair of Robo- Grip pliers helps getting them snapped together. (Use a rag with pliers so you don't scuf up the wire)

Some of the pieces are difficult to attach and will pop off. Otherwise they are okay

I got these for my wiring shelving purchased around 10 years ago. The connectors that came with the shelving looked a bit different so I was worried if these will be compatible. Well, they worked better than the original connectors. Nothing broke down and everything was snapping easily and holding tight. I loved them!

Got what I ordered and they work excellent.

It's hard, but I CAN get the wire frame into the slot, then it pops right off again. It does not go onto the wire frame all the way. Then the wire is spreading the groove out and it just wants to go back to it's normal shape and push the wire frame out. I had extra wire frames and just needed connectors. These are not the same as the ones that came with the frames - which work fine. Very disappointing. :-(

Not a great fit. I kept them cos it was past return date when I opened, but also was using to build a cat pen so was using along with zip ties so figured it should be okay that they don't fit well. So far okay with zip ties, wouldn't recommend if you dont have zip ties or a smaller wired squares. Spend a bit more and get the right fit!

The media could not be loaded.  If your cubes are the size of mine these will be too small and break while trying to push the squares into them. I have one of the original ones with it to compare the width difference of the openings.
