best monitors ever!
Had these for a year now and I continue to be impressed. We have 3 singers and use two of these and it's the best stage sound I've ever had including pro setups on big stages. Tons of head room, very clear, and wide dispersion so we can place them between two vocalists and both get monitored very well. I cannot recommend enough. Expensive, but worth it. My only complaint is the length of the power cables, but all EV speakers have this problem. 6 ft power cable is impractical for stage use and requires more ext cords or power strips than I'd like to use. For this price, at least give 10 footer, though 15' would be ideal

Clear, flat response and wide pattern.
Very versatile monitor. Excellent sounding as a monitor with very flat reponse. Just what you'd want your monitor to sound like. I bought 2 and occasionally use as a PA - works great there too. Also has guitar cab setting, but I don't use that feature, so can't say much about that. Yeah, it's expensive, but worth the price tag. Especially if your tired of losing your monitor as soon as you take a step left or right. This has a huge sweet spot and sounds great, with lots of headroom on the knob!

Best Monitor, EVER!
Took a long time to find the perfect stage monitor, but this is it! You can hear yourself, finally! Sound cuts through, adjustable eq, not too heavy, and easy to move around. We also purchased the monitor cover to protect it. Very happy with this purchase!

Best wedge ever.
The sound out of this unit is very customizable and well balanced. Feedback was never an issue and it projects well to the users ears. If it wasn’t so pricey I would get one more just to have for a drum monitor. Just one of these has enough degree of spread to cover 3 artists at the front of the stage if they are in close proximity.

Worked well until it stopped
It was great. I bought it in December 2023, but the speaker began having a lot of static and frying out today (April 2014). It also acted and showed on the screen as if something was plugged into one of the inputs when it was not. Very strange.Update: it appears that it had to do with either interference from something in the room or a bad power supply at the venue. Everything else using the power seemed to work normally, though. However, since I have played it at home several times and at a gig, and it seems to be working normally. So, while I’m not sure exactly what the issue was, it turns out it was just an anomaly. Overall I’m am extremely happy with it and have had no other issues with it. I am using it as my bass cabinet/monitor on stage, without a traditional bass cabinet/head, using a pedalboard with an origin effects bassrig super vintage pedal and origin effects ‘64 black panel pedal (which can be switched back and forth with a ABY pedal) plugged into the monitor via a 1/4 inch splitter from the origin effects pedals into the monitor’s 1/4 inch input, and with the house taking sound directly from the pedals via a whirlwind imp line level combiner. So I can change my own volume without messing with the house volume. Extremely lightweight solution for gigging bass players and sound guys will appreciate it.

Good sound quality
I used a 12” headrush for a few years and wanted something with a better sound, this is a lot better sounding and the angle is better.

Damaged packaging and blemished speaker
It seems to work for now.May return it.It's a lot of money for it to be delivered in such rough shape.Returns are such a hassel

Awesome monitor/crystal clear, but…
I bought Prime monitor in “ used, acceptable condition” for $650. The only problem was monitor had been dropped on corner prior to shipment and broken badly. Please beware of so called acceptable condition. What a joke.
