It's cute. Perfect retro aqua color to match my tea kettle.It works. It makes toast.

I am not usually picky about a toaster because, you know, toast. This time I wanted something that matched a specific color or decor (red/black/steel) and I wanted a toaster that can do bagels. My old toaster was awesome but lasted 3 years and died on me. This one is perfectly matched to the kitchen.Looks aside, this is smooth functioning. It's not loud on the pop-up and it toasted true to the chart that came with it (see the photo). The dial is large and easy to see. What I did NOT realize was that I can toast 2 slices per slot - this one gets me - and I can even toast only one side of the bread - Wha-??? - That right there is so much of what I need in my life. That Defrost function is also a nice Plus. The handle (to press down) is sturdy and easy to push down. Some toasters have thin or weak handles and take too much pressure to press.I am really happy with this. The red color is EXACTLY as shown on the product page. I was worried about that because there are so many shades of red and I didn't want anything leaning toward orange. This is so freaking cute. Its' "retro" without being cheesy or "too cute-sy". By the way, it's a heavy toaster and I found that unusual.

The color is beautiful. I got the turquoise and it works great. I love the retro design.

Updating - initial review below.I was contacted by the company and they promptly shipped me a brand new toaster that is working beautifully. Very happy.I did end up buying a specialty screwdriver to take apart the original broken one - realized that the mechanism that holds down the toast is an electromagnet, not a spring or mechanical device - so basically, unless the toaster is plugged in, the bread won't stay "locked" down in the toaster.INITIAL REVIEW BELOWWorked great with modest use for about 3 months - then the mechanism to hold down the bread broke, so you press down the button and the bread won't stay down to toast. I figured out the mechanism to hold down the bread broke because the knob that pushes down the lever broke off.To add insult to injury, I tried to take it apart to fix it, but the screws they used to assemble the toaster have a crazy triangular shaped head so that you can't open this without a specialty screwdriver.Too bad, but cannot recommend that anybody buy this.

Now that I have used the toaster several times it is so nice to have bread toasted on both sides.The old 4 slice toaster this one replaced was only toasting on one side IF I was lucky. I never heard of this brand and bought it on the video of it on site. I am not sorry.

Wanted a white toaster and smaller then what i had. Size wise it takes up less space on counter. It toasts bread just fine. Problem is getting used to pushing red button on the side to pop toast up. The toaster slides so you have to hold it with other hand while pushing red pop up button and putting it on non slip surface may help. Takes a bit of use to get used to it. Quality is ok. Had it for maybe a month with no other problems. For a less expensive model this does the job I need

This is the best toaster ever you guys! The green is awesome and it toasts perfectly even after a few weeks, unlike most that only make the perfect toast once. I get a lot of compliments on the color n style of it too. Not one bad thing to say from this lady. 🤗 just buy it already !

If you looking for a fully functional toaster don't buy this one. It does not have enough functions and the ones it has , do not generate enough heat to toast your bagel or bread, mostly it just warms it up.
