Q: How much does it weigh

Don' know how much it weighs. But I am 70 yrs old and can pick up and move. I love this bathtub. it makes bathing my dog so much easier for me. no more bending over the bathtub and i can also dry my dog in it.

So the assembled tub stands 35 inches tall the frame leg to leg the metal legs 22“ x 14“ and then the actual tub part itself is 32 inches long and 20 inches wide. I was able to put it together myself, and I’m not terribly mechanically inclined, but I was able to do it in about a half an hour. It’s very sturdy and lightweight enough for me to pick up from the laundry room and put it into the bathtub when she needs a bath, the most difficult part for me was actually lifting my dog and getting her into the tub because she is a little bit of a pudge.

Q: Is the plastic bpa free? we want to use this with our baby, who pretty much acts like a puppy. :)

I don’t know. Better get one special for baby baths.

I believe this will work for your Aussie. It’s a very sturdy tub. You’ll love it. The plus side for me is, it can fit in the home bath tub. That way I don’t have to bend down to wash my Camille and Ms. Dottie.
