Way cheaper than what the pro wanted to charge
Had an HVAC blower go out; turned out to be this part needed to be replaced. They wanted to charge me $500 for the call including swapping this part out. Basically it was like changing a light bulb. I support hiring the pros to get it done and I also support realistic pricing, which this was not (Pro Tip - google the part they want to replace before authorizing the work).I negotiated them down to around $300 (diagnostics, the trip out there, expertise etc. no problem) but then bought another one of these for my other HVAC if/when it goes out.

better than twenty differient capacitors taking up space on your truck.
5 year part warranty, cant beat that & this one is better than keeping up with 20 differient ones. installed several hundred of these over a long time & never had one to fail on me .

versatile capacitor
more versatile capacitor since it replaces from 2.5 to 15.0 mfd units. Just put this one in place of the bad one and everything works fine.

Excellent Product and Outstanding Customer Service
Last week, just before a run of very hot days, our AC stopped working. A quick check showed it was our run-capacitor that had failed. Replacing a run-capacitor on your AC is pretty straightforward (look on YouTube), so I shut off the power and opened up the unit. A service technician had installed an AmRad Turbo200 run capacitor back in 2011, and a quick check with my meter showed low microfarad values, so the capacitor had to be replaced. You will find that most places do not stock any run capacitors. There are too many, and it probably turns into an inventory burden. No one in our area stocks run capacitors, even though several stores (LOWES, Home Depot) said, "...oh, yes, we have people in here all the time asking about them...no, we don't stock them." While my wife was looking on Amazon.com for replacements, I happened to send AmRad an email, saying that I wished they marketed their products a little better, because I would have paid a little more on the spot just to get my AC back on line. I wasn't asking for a replacement, I just was sending a customer recommendation.I quickly received a response email from Sherri at AmRad, saying that if the capacitor was not installed more than 5 years ago, they would overnight a new one to us that afternoon. I was blown away. No attitude or excuses, just an offer to make it right. I sent her my address, she sent me a tracking number. I had a new Turbo200 the very next morning at 10:20am. It took less than a minute to install the jumpers following the enclosed directions, and a few minutes more to install into our AC.How often do you see this kind of performance and customer support these days? Hardly ever. And to my knowledge, no other capacitor manufactures warranty their products. I later emailed to ask if AmRad was making a special exception in our case, by sending a replacement so fast. Sherri responded that all of their Turbo products are warranted for five years (from the date of installation); if it fails within that period, they consider it defective and they will overnight you a new one. Amazing.Note: They ask for the capacitor back so they can do a failure analysis, to improve the product. They send you a prepaid UPS label so it costs you nothing. Because they are serious about product quality, they want to examine the expended capacitor. But they do not make you wait while they complete their evaluation. They understand that a dead AC unit in a hot climate is a miserable experience.Thank you AmRad for exceptional customer service!

Lasted only 4months
I am vey disappointed that this capacitator lasted me barely four months before it stopped working. My return door closed in 30days but the original product is supposed to carry a five years warranty. There needs to be a way to resolve product malfunction because l would hate to believe that this is the product this buyer is selling. I hope mine is one of the few defects.
