I thought there was comedy potential here in the brand name. It seems to work fine. Thumbs up. Honk or vote helpful if you also bought one on the strength of it's name alone. Seriously though, seems to be working well, though I have had some troubles with my usb ports that my local mac service techs have attributed to both the motherboard being bad and to the fact that I changed the battery myself. Of course they couldn't tell me what about the board specifically was bad other than the usb port isn't working. I told them that when I walked in so I am failing to see why the still charged me $80 after refusing their almost $700 repair. And so I hestitate to blame it on the battery. This is what people do when they haven't a clue but still fell like it's ok to charge a consumer for trusting them. C'est la vie I suppose.

Purchased this replacement in NOV and installed in DEC 2016. Its June 2017 and the battery already says it needs to be replaced. I doesn't stay charged. I have to always be hooked up to the power cord. It worked great for a few months. Not worth the money. Purchase from apple and it will last years. My original battery from apple lasted 9 years. 6 months is pathetic and a ripoff.

I sent the laptop to my mom as a gift, the battery died in 2.5 hours and sometimes while there was 30% charge left. Horrible!After writing a review, company reached out to me, asking to give them a second chance and sent me another battery free of charge.Great customer service!!!Unfortunately there was little change, battery does not die at 30% but still only lasts for 3 hours only. I might just be unlucky.I gave a few extra stars, just for great customer service.

***UPDATE***So after having this installed for a few weeks I have noticed something that was worth an update. This battery works....but not super efficiently. The life of this battery is maybe half of the original OEM battery that came with the MacBook Pro. I'm not going to complain though, because the way that we use his laptop is more along the lines of a desktop. We hardly every take it anywhere. So, I'm downgrading from 5 stars to 4 stars.Well, so far so good! Fits my husbands MacBook Pro 13" perfectly. Although there were some trials and errors getting the holes to line up just right. His trackpad started to malfunction so I did some research as to what the cause could be. Come to find out his battery had swollen and damaged the trackpad. That's my next project. The instillation is by far the easiest thing I have ever done. The only thing I have to complain about is when the battery came it was dead. No biggy, just had to charge it for a few minutes then let it discharge. Will update if there are any problems, but it's looking good so far.

It works and holds a charge but not as long as my original Battery that came with my Macbook Pro. I have noticed though with this battery installed my laptop fan runs way more and the laptop gets pretty hot and sometimes I have to close it or shut it down because I am worried about it getting so warm. If I was to purchase another battery for my 13" Macbook Pro I would try a different one.

The battery installed quite easily in a MBP mid-2010. I charged it for 24 hours and gave it a try. I drained about 20% per hour of browsing Internet (no video), MS Word, and playing a few audio files (about 3 mins / hour). I was expecting a heftier charge but it's better than the dwindling original battery.

My 2010 13" Macbook Pro booted up with this battery installed, but failed the AST (Apple Service Toolkit) battery test completely. I would steer clear of this battery for that reason alone. Caveat emptor!

Fit perfectly! My MBP is free of it's power cord again. Battery is as good if not slightly better than the original. Have done about 4 hours of YouTube video watching and hit 64% battery left.. Very pleased! The included screwdrivers made installation a breeze!
