Works great and is quiet but not when your cutting?? Kind of defeats the purpose. It’s hefty and cumbersome not like my old cut off. But I’d buy it again you can feel that .5 HP

I bought this to make removing the leaf spring shackle box on my Jeep Cherokee easier, and it did a great job. It has enough power, rpm's is easy to modulate, great ergonomics, and it's fairly light. My 21 gallon Harbor Freight compressor couldn't quite keep up, so if you're doing big job, you'll need a compressor with at least twice the flow. The only thing I want is a hard case that has space for the air fitting and cut off blade, even if it's an accessory, because I'm rarely going to use this tool and it's going to spend most of its life banging around the bottom drawer of my tool box.

I have now used this for cutting through bolts, chain, pipe, hardened suspension bushings, other stuff. It's stout, strong and relatively quiet, much better than the one I replaced. I especially like the trigger button, it's easy to use and comfortable.

This is definitely quiet but takes a lot longer to cut than other "louder"pneumatic cutting tools. Does the job though. I work in industrial maintenance and I can verify that it's durability stands up to drops and violent frustration when you're trying to get the job done quicker lol

This is a great cut-off tool. It's so quiet compared to other cut-off tools in my shop. i feel like the handle is a good length for most hands. The trigger is variable speed and easy to use. I am in the process of collecting more AIRCAT tools. Lets see so far I have:- This tool- small 1/4 inch drive air ratchet. also very nice and quiet.- more to come...heheheheBuy this tool and you will not be disappointed.

Had a Florida Pneumatic cut off tool for 20 years. got it for free and it just now started to act up. I knew of Air Cat. I have a stubby 1/2" air gun from them. I did not know that they where the same company.Well got my new cut off tool and it is great nice feel in hand no pain in the but safety toggle and QUIET real nice product.and the consumable cut off wheel thick and sturdy(need to find them at a good price for the future)

Quiet. I wonder though if some power is sacrificed in order to achieve the low decibels. Overall it is great! I like not having a guard to deal with. Has good power. I would expect that the power will increase when I put in some thinner discs. The one it comes with is a mammoth. I am very pleased with the product and the packaging!

Great tool though as usual the guard can get in the way but it's better than getting hit with the disk. Runs great even on my 4.5cfm at 90psi 25 gal compressor. Not having the safety switch makes variable speeds much easier to a train. Love aircat I'll keep buying when they put out better than the premium high priced alternatives

This is the only one I’ve used so I can’t compare to others. I like that it does not have a trigger lock off. Seem’s to work fine.

Very quiet and compact.On using the tool I find it underpowered.
