Don't purchase. Buy from someone else.
So this review is on the second wind generator that I purchased previously I purchased a 400 w generator, and it barely put out 6 volts. Being new to off-grid power generation I thought maybe I just didn't buy a very good one, so I purchased the second one which is the one I'm writing the review about right now. After hooking it up and monitoring it for a couple of days I came to the quick conclusion that the 1200 watt which is supposed to be three times bigger than the 400 w put out approximately the exact same amount of volts. Which amounts to not even enough to start charging my 12 volt battery. So when I took it down to send it back I decided to look it over a little bit and it is the exact same wind generator as the 400 w they charge me quite a bit more money and sold me the exact same wind generator. And when I say exact same I'm talking about the wiring the windings the diameter of the wiring and the output of the wind generator. Neither of the two generators I purchased from these folks will even remotely start to charge a 12 volt battery. Save your money buy from a reputable Amazon seller by a different name brand stay away from the Chinese or Japanese manufactured ones they are ridiculously overrated. And most of the time they don't work at all.

Divide the wattage by 100 to get a realistic number
There is a wobble to the windmill, which is a little noisy, but it works. In a really good wind (20 to 30 mph) I was getting 100 watts from the windmill. Better than nothing, but no where close to 1100 watts.

Great Product PRICELESS
So far this unit has performed as stated by the seller. I live in a Florida condo on the 11th floor and use this unit on my balcony. We always have a breeze and this unit fits in nicely and does not stand out like a sore thumb. It is a must have if you live in a hurricane zone. I spent an extra $250 building the stand which included the connections and floor plate. Emergency power when needed is PRICELESS.

Watts less than expected
The output wasn't exact as specified per manufacturer but enough wattage to keep a small bank charged

Perfect for our application
This was exactly as described.

It works, with allot of work
First of all, IT WORKS!!!. this is my first wind turbine. I'm happy to see it works, the pwm charger controller that comes with it is it's weak link, i won't be using that. The kit was supposed to come with a tool to make installation easy, it didn't. But I have my own tool kit. The user manual is Chinese and broken English, but I was able to figure it out from the pictures on the manual. I don't have an amp or watt meter to measure the current that is producing, but I noticed my battery charges quicker and discharges slower. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

It spins in the wind. WoW!
It is ok. Does not seem to put anywhere near the 1200 watts though. More like 120watts. Maybe math is different in China
