The best general use laptop on the market
This is an amazing laptop. I ordered mine configured with 16 GB RAM and 512 NVMe SSD. On the Lenovo site it is not available anymore. The Ryzen 7 4700U CPU is amazing, with 8 cores and very low power usage / thermals. I run Ubuntu Linux and the thermals rarely go above 41 Celsius. It's also a very quiet laptop, the fans are super quiet. Lightweight, portable. You can even run most games on it too, but for AAA titles the Radeon RX Vega 7 integrated into the APU will give you lower frame rates. In which case you can also buy eGPU if you really need discrete GPU. But for an integrated graphics in APU, the performance and graphics quality are simply amazing. Buy it now, and you'll never go back to Intel.

Great for the price.
Great laptop for the price. Powerful enough to run a variety of programs at once with decent sound. Definitely worth it for the price. The polycarbonate finish is sturdy and has a nice feel that makes it feel more premium.

So far so good!
I will be using this laptop for work (Software Development) for the next few months everyday. So far there have been no issues. Installation and setup was fairly easy and hardware specifications were met as requested. Brightness and sound are great! Great speed on the SSD and the CPU is best suited for multi-tasking type of work.The backlit keyboard has only two setting dim and bright. The numerical pad on the keyboard is slightly thinner in width then a standard external keyboard size. Trackpad is not of the best quality and holds the smudges and oils from my fingers. However, almost EVERY trackpad on the market does the same. The hinge on the screen is not the best I'd rate it at 7/10. I use a wireless mouse because that is what I prefer so it was nice to see they included one with the deal. Overall not the best build quality but above average for sure.Based on the thickness of the laptop, I would have preferred there be an Ethernet port. Laptop is on the thicker side but is very light which was amazing!

Update do not buy if you travel internationally!!!
Buyer beware. I bought a service warranty and am on a new assignment for a year. The computer failed while en route to New Zealand from theUS. It appears to be a spontaneous motherboard failure. It received no damage or moisture. Lenovo states that the warranty is not honored outside the US and wants $1100+NZD to do the repair. Not six months old.
