Nearly 33 percent of Indiana Residents Supported the Klan in the 1920’s
I will echo many of the sentiments conveyed by some of the reviewers about this book. One the saddest thing I learned about this book was that nearly 33 percent of all Hoosiers thought joining the Klan was a good idea. Well-researched, thought provoking, and timely. I highly suggest ordering this book.

Informative and well written
Well researched and intriguing history - with authentic and direct writing, this well known historian knows how to draw in the reader. I am struck by the connections between this time in the 1920's and the history we are living today.

Excellent history of the Klan in Indiana culture and politics. Learned a lot about attitudes and opinions I've encountered. And even learned how the Notre Dame "Fight'n Irish" EARNED their nickname...Highly recommend.

American Education is Disturbing
Well written and very informative & educational concerning real United States of America that provides an illusion of human rights minus advocation of poverty & labor class struggle of Americans.

Important information
We need to remember the brutality and corruption of the Klan, because white nationalism is coming back in force.
