Night & Day Furniture Clover Murphy Cabinet Bed

The cabinet bed is well made using premium materials. It is a good-looking piece of furniture. Set-up was simple with two people. I did most of the set-up alone, and accomplished the few moves of heavy parts with my wife's help. It is easy to open and close and is much more comfortable than the futon it replaced. My cabinet bed arrived with some minor shipping damage and the seller quickly offered several generous solutions to the problem. Problem happily solved. This bed and seller are highly recommended!

The freight company dropped it off and you need at least two people, if not three to move this before unboxing. We received the unit and had to let it sit in another room for a few weeks until the room it would be used in was ready. Assembly was easy because the instructions were simple to follow and all of the tools were provided except a rubber hammer I used to make sure the pegs were all the way in the holes.Having bought some furniture online before I was surprised at how solid the unit is, and how well put together everything was. I checked around to make sure nothing was loose, and this may be the first time I've bought furniture online that I didn't have to tighten up a single screw, realign a hinge, or adjust some mechanism.It was easy to open, and even when opened was still very solid. After we had everything assembled we noticed a crack on the inside of what would be the head board. I looked on the outside of the area and there was no apparent damage, and it was clear the crack didn't go all the way through. I'm guessing that in shipping something pushed against the box just enough to cause the crack, but not enough to really damage the box or the outside of the unit.I took a picture and sent it to the seller. I really just wanted to know a good way to fix it, because I didn't think it was a structural problem and it certainly wasn't worth trying to ship the whole thing back. I got a quick response, and later a phone call from Shawn who I believe works with the manufacturer. He was extremely polite, and offered a replacement panel or a small amount of a refund. I took the small refund, but to be honest I really just wanted a way to fix the issue. He also gave me good instructions on how to fix the issue and made sure I knew they would stand behind the warranty if it caused further problems.I wish the mattress was an eight inch instead of a six inch, but it is perfect for my wife. Not the companies fault I'm a bigger guy.This is far superior to any convertible couch or other pullout bed I've used or owned. We may even get another one for a second room later. The customer service was great, the quality for the price is great, and the looks are really good. This is one of the best purchases I've had on Amazon from a seller I wasn't familiar with in terms of my satisfaction with the seller and the overall quality.

First, the product assembly is not difficult but it does require two people to accomplish safely and without risk to the furniture so just be aware of that. Second, I think this is a very well designed, high quality product that is both an attractive piece of furniture when not in use as a bed and very comfortable when it is being used as a bed. Additionally, the conversion back and forth between bed and furniture is pretty effortless. Now the delivery was a bit of an issue and I want to be clear that both Amazon and their delivery service Ceva, were great to work with in trying to resolve this. My issue is that living in a less populated area in Maine, the delivery was handed off to a 3rd party carrier (PAF) who showed up a day before scheduled, did not call ahead of time as promised, and then refused to bring the carton around the house to the back entrance which is the only access point to get this large piece of furniture into our house. I explained that this has been paid for and agreed to at time of purchase, spoke to a supervisor, and offered myself to help move it to the back entrance; all to no avail. I then asked to use their hand dolly to do it myself and was refused. I postponed the acceptance of the furniture to call Ceva and then Amazon. Ceva was great and made an attempt to have the contractor honor the delivery agreement but the company did not budge. Amazon then issued me a credit to allow for the rental of a hand dolly so that when the furniture was delivered the next day, I was able to move the boxes down by myself so I am comfortable with the final resolution but displeased with the 3rd party carrier who I feel were unprofessional and offered poor customer service. The point being that if you happen to have any unusual delivery requirements or restrictions, they need to be resolved prior to delivery as some sub contracted carrier will not honor the delivery agreement. All in all, knowing ahead of time I'd have to deal with the delivery headache, I'd do it again. We're thrilled with the purchase.

I got the cherry and it is well made , a beautiful piece of furniture that will last a life time.

I thought I would have to assemble this thing piece by piece (which I was alright with) and I had the delivery man leave it downstairs so I could build it in the upstairs room bringing up the pieces. After he left I opened the box fully and found out the furniture comes pre-assembled... (Mattress comes in a separate box vacuum sealed)So now I had no one to help me carry this pre-assembled 400lb box up the stairs. I called a friend and waited for him to help me bring the whole package up my narrow staircase, and once we finally got it to the top, I was able to add the bottom platform section that was inside of the furniture.All in all it works great, and it’s super convenient for saving space. Better than a Murphy bed in my opinion.The cons are that it only has enough space for their folded mattress, which I’ll admit is pretty firm, so I added a mattress topper that makes the bed perfect, but I have to take off the topper and blankets to store it away.The drawer works good for like 2-4 pillows, and the outlet works perfect.One of the latches came broken and I found a few paint scuffs but all in all this is a great piece of furniture. I just wish I knew it came pre-assembled.
