Apply to the surface of completely dried Tadelakt with a metal trowel. Go over it several times so that it penetrates and impregnates the surface. The double action of the soap provides waterproofing and brightens up the colors. First, because the soap combines with the lime creating a fat molecule swelling in water, the surface becomes impermeable to water. And second, the olive oil not only brightens the colors, but works as a waterproofing agent as well.
