Once you get over the fact that you apply this differently to most other deodorants, you’ll find this to be an excellent replacement - it goes on easily, works well, and smells great. An easy two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

Product reviewed: Pit Putty lemongrass & teatree deodorant:Took me a few days to get used to using it, (how much to use and how best to apply it), but I've found it really works and I like the smell of it.It's very firm in the tin, so you need to rub it on your hands to loosen it up and then apply it to your underarms with you hands - much like you do with a hard wax hair product. You don't need much and I think it would be very sticky if you put too much on, but you do need enough that it goes on smoothly.So a new experience for me, but I like the product - it works well and it does seem to last all day.

This product is easy to apply and smells amazing. It keeps me feeling dry and fresh all day. I haven’t had a chance to try it for a work out yet but so far so good. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and it comes in a recyclable/reusable tin.

Lovely scent this vegan deodorant is made of Shea butter. Scoop a tiny amount out from the tin and either melt it between your Fingers and apply it to your armpits or apply it directly to your am pits and wait for it to melt before rubbing it in. It’s made of organic ingredients smells delicious and lasts all day. It’s environmentally friendly and I love finding new ways to use the tin afterwards, no plastic!!!

I used to use a heavy duty deodorant, but wanted to switch to something that wasn't in a disposable plastic container. I'm really pleased I took a chance on this! It works so well, lasts all day and hasn't made stains on my clothing. The tin can be used afterwards (as a paperclip pot, or for sewing pins etc) or recycled. I love that it's a vegan product too.

Beautiful fragrance, easy to use, great packaging but was a bit disappointed as it didn't last as long as my usual deodorant

I've been using Pitt Putty for over a year and am only on my second tin. A little goes a long way - a bean size amount is all that's needed. The little aluminium tin can be recycled or repurposed (I keep dressmaking pins in my old tin). I use the lemongrass and tea tree balm and it smells great. After decades of using antiperspirants I was cautious about using a deodorant balm, but am more than happy with making this eco-friendly swap.

I liked the idea of trying a different style of deodorant and I value the ethical credentials of the company ..but sadly did not find it worked. The putty is firstly quite hard to apply and a faff if you are in a rush - having to warm it up in your fingers and even then bits of it tend to fall off a bit onto the floor. After eventually rubbing enough onto your pits according to instructions you've got to try and wash it off your hands - it tends to coat the finger tips and I had to scrub the stuff off, which if you have eczema on your hands as I do, isn't great. Anyway, those things might be overcome if the product worked...after a few hours I could smell a combination of BO and lavender - actually a really gross smell. I tried this for a few weeks and each time I could detect my own BO after a matter of hours and my tops smelt of this weird/gross combination of lavender and BO. This product might be okay if you hardly sweat at all, but anything more and I think you'll get the same. Switched back to my trusty Sanex roll on and much happier as I don't reek after a few hours.
