Salmon excellent package not so
The wild red salmon was excellent. The problem was that I had ordered three cans, when I received this package two of the cans were dented significantly. I was disappointed in that, I don't know if they knew they were packaging dented cans or not.

This salmon is amazing and worth the price - it's the best tasting canned salmon i've ever had.

Vital Choice is good! But so is Wild Planet (and it's cheaper)
I saw such rave reviews on the internet about the quality of Vital Choice Salmon that I bought 2 skinless-boneless cans to taste it.Of course, it's great! No doubt about it.However, I usually buy skinless-boneless salmon from Wild Planet and it tastes just as good - I couldn't tell the difference. What is different though, is the price - Vital choice costs about $46 for a 6-can pack and Wild Planet costs $38 for 6 cans (on their websites). AND Wild Planet has a no-minimum free shipping policy. So I'll stick with Wild Planet. Now maybe all the rave reviews are about the salmon with skin & bones - but I cannot eat fish with skin.Nevertheless, if you get a good deal - Vital Choice is recommended.

Sooooo good for you.
This is the best canned salmon you can get, and I go to the trouble of ordering it, rather than just picking up some from the health food store, because this company is really great, and I trust them. You can also order fresh salmon shipped overnight to you, and lots of other products. Blueberries! I also take a Vitamin D3 supplement of theirs, crucial for any women over 30 (or under, I would say), and they make a version that is in salmon oil, very good. This supplement is really good and supportive for your brain, for energy, for any kind of joint health, and other things. I would not be without it. Same goes for the salmon itself of course. I do like to eat fresh salmon filets whenever I can of course -- Alaskan King Salmon ONLY (farm raised is now being linked to all kinds of problems), but it is pricey. I eat this canned version, which is full of flavor by the way, my breaking it up over a big fresh salad, add different greens, sprouts, endive, maybe blueberries or rasberries, goat cheese or blue cheese, and a simple dressing with good quality olive oil land lemon, and you have a wonderful meal. It doesn't get better. You can also order this canned salmon without bones or skin.Highly recommended.

good product
product delivered as described. consistency was not as moist as I had thought it would be, but this is the first time I have had canned salmon so my expectation could be unrealistic in this regard. otherwise, product was good.
